  • The Critically Acclaimed Award Winning Documentary Film By New York City Film Producer, Dj Scripz, Is Now Available On CZcams. This documentary film delve into a time in New York City, specifically Brooklyn, New York when fashion and designer brand names were EVERYTHING. As young Haitians (Zoes) from Haiti, these young folks had to find a way to assimilate into Urban Culture and assimilated quickly. What better way to acclimate into a culture than to ingest its street style, fashion, and its music?

Damn son, this brought back some memories. I remember when Hatian cats use to say they were Jamaican to avoid drama.
    Fire doc! big up.

I remember that when I moved to Flatbush Junction area in 86. It was a shock to me. I was the 1st in my entire family to be born in Brooklyn. Cumberland Hospital and I grew up in Ft. Green, Clinton Hill area and then the junction area. I never had a problem in neither places. But what I saw what the other Haitians and flatbush was dealing with. I was very confused. I never had that problem.

I really appreciate this documentary. I'm using this as a primary source for a project about underrepsreneted groups in America. As a Haitian-American growing up in California I dont have many Haitian role models. This documenatry is so helpful for my project. Mesí!!🇭🇹

Excellent documentary!! This really expand my mind about the Young Haitians had to endure back in the 80's & 90's. What made me see this documentary is that one of the person I ran into is Billy Aumain on my way to work, & inform me of this documentary since he saw me wearing Polo which I have been wearing since my High School days.

LO saved a lot of people I’m not a Hatian but I respect my brothers 100% I have 2 older brothers and only wore hammy downs, in my older brothers would embarrass and tell me “take my ish off” in front of friends. I felt awful and embarrassed 🤦🏽‍♂️ long story short I got my first job back then abd the rest is history I spent every dime I had purchasing LO 😂 I still wear it till this day, btw I am the best dressed out of my family. 🐎 🎉
