@@devinsmart1547 First, never look at freshman college players shooting percentage, look at their form and Max has great form. Secondly, do a bit of research, he's 6'8 now and plays great defense coming from a system that is known for coaching strong players.

To be honest, Pelinka has done very well in his role.
2/3 Solid off-seasons and no one wouldve guessed it would've got as bad as this last season.

@@splashnskillz37 where did I ignore it? I said 2/3 solid off-seasons. This last off season looks much worse now because it was followed by a terrible season. But at the start many STILL had us contending.
As for decision making, signings. His Job. I can get on board with most of the things he’s done. That’s all.

DARVIN “GREEN EGGS AND” HAM
Lakers always seem to find gems in the draft. Outside of ball, most lakers drafted are balling whether they’re with the lakers or not. Clarkson is big part of jazz, randle is legit on Knicks, Russell is solid, nance is solid on pelicans, hart is solid, Bryant has his ups and downs but when locked in, solid player, Zubac is great on clippers, tht also has future in jazz, reaves is amazing with the team, Caruso is solid with bulls and Christie may join the list
Pelinka should have been fired. From a championship team to not even making the playoffs was on him. Get a GM (not Rambis) that knows what he/she is doing. Actually Rambis shouldn't be anywhere near the team.

Lakers transition defense has to be way better next season. Westbrook has speed. Hopefully the Lakers GM can compliment the big 3 with players with size and speed that get back on defense and don't allow other teams to get almost no transition baskets. And on offense they need good 3 point shooters. Gabriel was a good addition but then he injured his ankle in the final games of the season and didn't get much playing time because of the injured ankle. A player that is fast and gets back on defense and is at least 6'10 would be great for defense and to help AD on defense.
Westbrook's assists would've been higher if his teammates would've made more 3's last season and finished better close to the basket and if the big 3 would've played way more than only 21 games together. The Lakers missed a ton of wide open 3's. A Wiggins type of player who is 6'7 tall and can shoot well from 3 and finishes well close to the basket would be great for the Lakers.
Also Westbrook's assists would've been higher if the Lakers would've played good defense which would've allowed them to get fast break opportunities.
And Lakers fast break offense should be way better too. In one of the last games of the season Lakers had a 3 on 1 and they didn't score. That couldve been due to lack of practice together because of all the injuries. Those fast break points are crucial to winning games. And in another fast break in one of the games late in the season Monk turned the ball over. He shouldve thrown a bounce pass.
And LeBron has to tell his teammates when he's going to double team so one of the other Lakers picks up his man because a lot of times LeBron would double and his man would cut to the basket for an easy lay up.

Sorry but I need to step in. There’s a pattern. He seem to be drafting only Michigan players. Just watch for 17th pick you will see he will probably gonna draft Jett Howard or Kobe Bufkin. He likes to draft Michigan. I want him to explore other player like Jordan Hawkins or Leonard miller or any other players. 47th pick will be emotes bates.
