Live option are now very less, you can buy a dth which is nowaday very cheap around 250 rs you can watch most of channels. Internet connection you can take from anyone airtel, jio etc. You can also buy mi tv stick for ott apps. Buy a monitor that have hdmi input and audio out also.

there are lesser option of 24 inch led tv, most of manufacturer now making 32 inch and higher size tv.
it is better to buy monitor inplace of tv if you want to work from desk.
if your plan to buy TV for both purposes like entertainment and some time desktop work than you can buy a TV.
monitor are designed to work from closure, in tv you will feel fatigue in your eyes.

Many monitors have 2 hdmi nowaday, you can use both but needs to switch input source from monitor menu. Also check that monitor is compatible with hdcp so that you can use firestick.

actually jyadatar monitor ke inbuilt speaker ki sound jyada nahi hoti agar door se dekhna hai to external speaker lagane padte hain.
Agar HDMI port hain to koi bhi device connect kar sakte hain. Par firestick ke liye monitor HDCP compliant hona chaiye.
Check the specification for hdcp compliance.

@@ezhilmani20 you can use hdmi to vga converter and connect firestick or chromecast or android tv. Some old monitor has display issues issues. You can test first hdmi to vga converter are not costly around 400-500 rs also buy with aux out port.

Usb port is used to play content or firmware upgrade. You need to use hdmi to vga adapter that has aux port or can also use aux or rca port available in set top box.
Rca to aux port will be better option

Jio stb may have optical port, you can connect external speaker using optical to aux converter. Also if monitor has vga port you can use hdmi to vga converter with aux port to connect speakers.

Yes if you have HDMI port in your monitor you can easily connect your DTH set top box to monitor using HDMI cable.

You can believe me if your monitor is not too old say 2010 or later you will get picture from hdmi and vga. In firestick there may be hdcp issue, hdmi to vga no issue.
If monitor is too old like crt display fat type and no led there may be display issue.

You can continue monitor are designed to run longer time , however I have used monitor for 10-11 hours without any issies

You can try to change frequency from monitor settings and can also change resolution if available in monitor settings menu.

There may be issue with monitor resolution and frequency, you can set resolution to 720p and frequency 50Hz by connecting to any tv or monitor to your nokia streaming device.

Yes any device can be connected Chromecast was an example. Firestick, android tv box, apple tv can also be connected this way.
With firestick hdcp compliant is problem on monitor. So on hdmi connection some use report video issue. However hdmi to vga adapter works, you need to check these things.

As your monitor does not have audio output port, you can use hdmi to vga adapter as described in video. But in vga picture quality not as good as hdmi. You can buy a hdmi to hdmi converter with audio out port, it cost around rs. 2400. You can also check if your firestick support bluetooth speaker connectivity. As 3rd gen firestick has bluetooth for speaker or headphones. In that case firestick can be connected with hdmi and audio through speakers.

What is your monitor make and model
It is problem with firestick if monitor is not hdcp compliant you may not see video. But as per some forums hdmi to vga or hdmi to dvi adapter works you need to check.

Some set top box if sending higher resolution than monitor than there may be issue, check the output of set top box also what are the settings. lower the resolution like 720p and check. frequency can be changed from the monitor control buttons
