Xiaomi's 13.3 inch laptop is damn good for only 6000HKD, you get a 940MX in a thin aluminium package, the charging is damn fast, the keyboard and trackpad are solid. The screen looked a bit poorly calibrated to me, but that's subjective, and I'm not sure about the actual sRGB rating of the display.

Asus has the 2nd best CPU and GPU with 16gb of ram. Huawei has the worst CPU and GPU but 16gb ram, best speakers, and my favorite design.

These are honestly the only prebuilts that I would recommend due to the fact that their price is just at or even below that of the components themselves.

Hi Dave lee, Love from India _/\_
I really appreciate your hardwork and aesthetic sense which are reflecting in every frame in your videos. I really love the way you present the hardware specs and measurements, they are simple, straight forward and yet elegant. Since, i started watching your videos, i've stopped making an effort to do my own research when i purchase laptops.
Only thing i would request is, when you are reviewing laptops, please include the measured "Delta E" (Avg , Max) values of the display. Because that is the only thing that tells us, if the display is accurate or not(If possible please include the CCT value of the display screens). Of course the color gamut cant be denied, but it doesn't tell you the accuracy of the display screen, rather it will tell you the overall coverage of the colors.
Last but not the least, you have made all our lives easy, by making us feel effortless when it comes to technical side of computers. Cheers...

Great video as aways, really happy to have found your channel a couple months ago!
Two things tough, first is your reasoning for choosing the lighter ones, you highlighted the LG Gram with .94kg and left behind the zenbook 3 and the 12" macbook. What's the reasoning for that? In the final strenght table you marked the zenbook for weight but missed the macbook. The only reason someone will buy the 12" macbook is for size/weight.
Second, you place keyboard in the final table but misses the trackpad entirely. That's how most people are going to control their notebooks, through the trackpad, I think it's as important as a good keyboard or a good screen.

Specs are better for the Mac in most categories 🙄Trackpad, screen, battery life, build, drive speed, warranty and customer support and OS and the 2nd gen butterfly keyboard is a breeze to type on. Price is of course Apple taxed.

I love all of your reviews, They are thoughtful, intelligent with humor, right to the point and specific. Thank you for always being so consistant. Its time to buy my daughters (12 and 14) new laptops for the school year so we came to you for a review of your top pics on ultra books. This was a perfect review. The stealth was something I didnt consider but based on this review and my 14 year old kind of emo lifestyle. I think this would work for her, vs the spectre for my younger daughter. Anyway, I, ranting, just saying thanks again.

Don't go for the Dell XPS 13 - I'm watching for best laptops here in CZcams because I'm considering selling/throwing away my current Dell XPS 13. It's portable, light and battery life is good. I'm ok with the travel on the keys and the placement of the camera aren't what I'm frustrated with - it's the compatibility of the device drivers, overly high screen resolution and the sleep function!
The touchpad default drivers is horrible - I have to install my own Synaptics in order for it to work properly.
Screen resolution - not all applications are supportive of that mode of resolution...you'll understand when the application is extremely tiny.
The sleep feature - horrible. You close your laptop and when you open it at home, the laptop is super hot and the battery is nearly empty.

Dell XPS in 13" since 2013 to 2017:
    (a) broken key on a keyboard,
    (b) Power button malfunctions,
    (c) the TOUCHPAD(!) has stopped working on the right click function;
    (d) TOUCHPADbecome elevated on top of the keyboard for 1/4"--I can fit 4 pennies on its right corner and the surface of the keyboard on the 2nd year or usage.

Have you checked out the Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe?
Trying to decide between the Asus Zenbook 3 Deluxe or Dell XPS 13 for photo editing on the go?
Both with i7, 16gb RAM and 512gb SSD.
Struggling to make a choice between the two.
    Pros of the Zenbook
    - Read/write speeds of the SSD faster than the Dell
    - It’s a lighter laptop
    - Bigger screen
    - Comes with additional USB C dongles in the box (but doesn't have standard USB to plug a mouse dongle in)
    Pros of the Dell
    - Top spec screen is higher res than the Zenbook (3200x1800 vs 1920x1080) (glossy screen may be worse than matte)
    - Brighter screen
    - Battery life is a lot better
    Someone please help me decide.
