Much respect i remember visiting Soweto for the first time in 1988,i asked my cousin to show me your parents place Ko Tladi Soweto.I was introduced to your music by the Legendary Max the Mixer Mojapelo of the then Radio Lebowa naw Known as Thobela FM.May God protect you.Ken Mangena in Phalaborwa Limpopo.
Hi I wanna thank all my old and new loyal fans who supported me through out the years of my carrier I appreciate your loyalty from the bottom of my heart I'm still around and (I'm still in love with you )you can expect some new material any time, have a blessed 2024
South African radio did a great disservice to our music. Radio today is happy to play USA music from the 60s,70s and 80s, but will do nothing to give this music airplay.
This song reminds me of the love of my life who passed away in 2015, back in the days she visited me one day that time we used to record songs that play on the radio using a cassette, so this song played on Motsweding FM and she jumped out of the bed and randomly picked one of my cassettes and placed it inside the stereo and recorded it, after that she would randomly rewind the cassette and play this song time and time again, even though it was not a full track but she didn't mind. Those are some of the little moments which I remember of her, I miss her😭😭💔💔💔 Thanks lord I found this song.
It reminds me of a time when as a man you got girls purely because of your looks or your game. Now simps get girls because of a car and a job. Well hello, they still come to the OG guys when they want proper loving and park the Range Rover outside a township house to get serviced by their true love I'm not a poor man but I've never led with the wallet when getting women. Never. Just talking to them and my looks and I have had a few beauties. Be warned🤣😁😂 Young men need to be taught the game properly
This song reminds me that there was a time when we had good artists of high caliber who could convert your inner thoughts into Words and a melody that's speak to the soul.
Back in the day when your uncle who was working hard in Gauteng could pay your university/college fees without any problem. Today's uncles will hardly do that. Indeed the good old days are gone forever. How sad😒😒😒!!
This one goes to Douglas Mosadi when he was still at Motsweding FM. He made me love this song beyond. The way he will talk about how proud he loved his roots and the respect he had on Radio. Thanks Douggie!
Pappa and his brother, Blondie, were simply out of this world. I watched him and his brother perform at the Reno Cinema in Port Elizabeth. They were unbelievable. This song did not get the fame and the popularity it deserved.
I play it several times on u tube on daily basis, because it's a can't get,I have travel lot looking for it. Or maybe if BRA PAPA CAN REALISE A BEST OF PAPA.THAT WAY IT CAN HELP US TO THAT COPY.
I'm sure teddy Pendergrass would thought he is a double person but pappa is our own with no match! So sad times can not be rewind & this times kills the ability to create what was, so good memories is all we've got!
Ooh yeah was doing form 2 at Kuwadzana High School here in Harare, Zimbabwe. What a song!! Had no idea that time what it means to be in love, was just imagining ang enjoying the song. If only the hands of time could be turned...........
Eeeish this classic 👌, is top of the range, I once had its music video I borrow it to a cruel someone who never brought it back and sadly I forgot who he is.
When I heard this classic for the first time I thought it is Teddy Pendergrass , to show you how talented Papa Makhene is , I wonder where is he ? Because his younger brother Blondie is still performing
This song should have sold millions of copies on the other side of the world and made Pappas Makgene the richest guy alive but unfortunately it didn't even reached a platinum here so unfortunate
@@southernafricanboy4148 Thanks to live under the policy of separate development known as apartheid ripped us of the dignity and integrity albeit the resources were accessible to the few whites. But this music were keeping us going as then artists were producing songs which were inspirational.

This song remind me of those day when people love you for who you are , not what you drive or possess. When there was still real love ,to the bone.
