- The Dad and Lad RC team - resplendent in our new merch - headed to the Southern Scale Trail yesterday and what can I say... it was an absolute blast!
Next year we are definitely going for the entire weekend, but we made the most of our day there, racing around to see as many sections of trail as possible.
In this video we explore the purpose-built 1/18th and 1/24th scale trail, especially for the 'little guys'. This was a great section, comprising a mix of natural terrain and man-made obstacles, and some areas certainly took a bit of thought and effort depending on your vehicle of choice.
We'll be back in a few days with some video from areas of the 1/10th trails.

Wow, looks like a great trail. I have been watching SpringWoods RC recently. He owns a plots land mainly woods and has turned it into a big crawler course and recently started doing a 1:24/1:18 size course.
SpringWoodsRC is great - that first video of Luke’s RGT Pioneer was shot there. Luke and I are planning a return trip with the 1/24ths and 1/18ths to try out the new course.
