On miter rips always rip more the 45 degrees, shoot for 49 and that gives room for the glue and also no gaps on your miter
I rip it between 45° and 46°, but I’ve never gone more than that. I’ll have to try this out

Well , this is a common cut on a table saw although he did a crappy job
Would have stained it first. Idk you would insist on all those fumes and drips inside a confined space. Plus it'll take twice as long for the stain to cure
