  • Tim Hendricks is well renowned tattoo artist and owner of Classic Tattoo in Fullerton, Calif. With a wide range of talents that includes surfing and skating any chance he gets, he is a true artist in every sense of the word.
When he is not at the shop or traveling, he spends his time at home in Costa Mesa, Calif. with his family. While at home, he also likes to build his own tattoo machines. He has a pretty sweet set up in his garage with all his tools and a huge 1940's South Bend Lathe machine. This thing is from the 40's, but runs like a beauty.
What we wanted to do with this Craftsman Series is show how artists like Tim Hendricks are continuing the tradition of tattooing and art alive. More importantly. we asked about traditions they remember as an adolescent.

Great video you are a humble man you are one of the ones preserving the art off tattooing I love old school tattoo shops these shops nowadays that are like a. Studio suck you go in and there’s no tattoo machines singing there no flash on the wall with that yellow floor from all the years it was on the wall in a tattoo shop a lot of the yellow was from everyone smoking witch no shops you are allowed to smoke so a lot of shot that do have flash use a yellowed paper I could go on and on I’m from around Toronto Canada and most of the shops the mystic is gone no more machines buzzing like the 90s cause most use rotarys a Haley pulls up to the shop it’s all so different now I don’t think most of these kids care about tattooing like the old guys that were around in the 90s all I know is thank you for preserving tattoo history you are a legend and you are still young any way people that read this you need to go see this man for a tattoo or to see a real tattoo shop ther are a few left but most are not tattoo shops they are studios you don’t get the same vibe

Beautifully said. Couldn't agree more. Tim is an amazing artist and we couldn't have been more proud of the work we did together. His imprint on the art of tattoo will forever live on and we can't wait to see what he does next. Thanks for watching Jeff.
