I hate to be the rules lawyer, but… it’s actually either three disaster of the same color or 3 different colors(which means you can only have a max of five total, but you can go out earlier).
Also, the little dinos’ +1 and -1 modifiers are that you get to move that more spaces, those add to the total of your card for highest player(like the stego bumps a 7 to an 8 if the disaster is a meteor).
The pure chaos at the end is perfection 🤣🤣

Great video! But, for future reference, the numbers on the character boards are bonus points for when you play cards on those colored disasters, not bonus points for owning those disasters
Also shayne lost when he had the meteor, predatory, and natural disaster cards in the second game. Meteor cards count as any of the disaster cards at the same time.

Is that how pet rock works? I've not been playing it that way at all. We play it as a zero, so you get the disaster card but _also_ discard a card from your hand and take those points on your score board. Then the highest scoring player gets their points as normal. So basically, you lose with a score of 0 then take points for what you discarded. Is that not right?
the effect of a card is used before scoring, so yeah that's how rock work, its a 0 but you may discard something to sneak in a higher score to not lose and win instead

I've accidentally been playing the pet rock as an "instant card"(can be put down after the first cards to change the score) so say I had a 6 initially, then to avoid loosing, id put my pet Rock down, then add another card from my hand ( for example a 3) then add 6 + 3 to make 9 :) it works well if you apply "instant card" rules to it actually, I may just keep it like that :)
I am a Board game geek, or a “ connoisseur of board games” if you will. While I understand some parts of “Happy little Dinosaurs” aren’t clarified enough, it’s best to try and follow the instructions to the letter, during the viewing of this video I saw multiple misconceptions of how the game actually explains it’s rules, for example, I am pretty sure the “star fruit” card doubles all plus 2 and minus 2 point cards for are players, not just the person who played the card. I won’t go any further into that subject, besides me now informing that you should make sure you read the rules correctly and carefully because it can lead to later confusion when playing a board game if read wrong. Also fun fact about board games: There is a difference between a card/rule/step saying “may”, or “must”; If a card says “may”, it means you don’t need to do what the card says (it’s optional); if a card says “must”, you must do the action; and if the card doesn’t say anything, for example, “add 2”, it is most likely to be treated as a must because it doesn’t say “may”. I hope anyone who reads this finds this information helpful.

They are awesome:) if you get one I suggest getting one that is the biggest size you can find... its more comfortable if its oversized... try or get one with a zip around the bum area so if you go to the toilet you don't have to take the onside down.. ( it's cold) and I reccomend something that doesn't have a massive thick tail so when you sit down its more comfortable:) also if you want to sleep in it its better not to have too much padding around the head(like huge horns or something) big wings also make it more uncomfortable to sleep haha

While Shayne was just a few points above 10 from getting to the end, that doesn’t mean he was close to winning, a mater of fact he lost a long time ago. Smosh crew may have changed up the rules a bit on purpose, or have just misunderstood the rules, but getting one of each disaster is also a lose, since shayne had 1 red and 1 green, that means he was missing a blue, the meteor is a wild and counted as that blue.
I hope to see smosh play the sheriff card game again. Those lying games are so great 😭😭😭
