I'm afraid it wasn't my question originally, but it was buried on Facebook, and I thought more people should see it. The whole Whiskey Therapy Session is well worth watching, if you have FB - the link is in the description.
Never heard him talking before watching this video... Humble and down to earth... A true gentleman... God has blessed us with this uniquely talented man... Thank you, Lord...❤️🙏🏻
Adam is just a inhuman mouth artist. But how he it performed is also great, that completes the total picture. He's the glue of Home Free. Basically everthing of him is amazing. Also his looks😉😊
My daughter is now a budding HF fan and a massive Adam Rupp fan. She heard you do the harmonica thing you do. I asked her so what do you think about that. She said, it's nice I told her you were making that sound on your own. She's like Noooo way. Then you finished and she said, so where's the harmonica? Then she realized it was all you. She said I would pay to just see him do this for a whole show! Fantastic!
You mean YOU can do that! I couldn’t do that if my life depended on it lol. But I’m happy you can, because it adds so much to the songs you use it on. I can’t tell you how many reactors I have watched, and their mouths fell open when they heard you do that.🐝🤗❤️
You're welcome - I kept wanting to refer people to it, and it was buried in the middle of a FB live, so I figured it was worth uploading separately. As for Adam, he certainly is.
You are a fantastic noise maker... I've never seen anybody like you. I really love to watch you do shit that is impossible. Continued success young man.
You're welcome. 🙂 I kept wanting to tell people about it, but it was buried in a 40 mins FB live, where you can't link to a timestamp, so I figured this was the easiest way of dealing with it.
Cartman? CARTMAN? Oh Lord, I didn't expect that! That's a complete riot. I surrender. Adam didn't swallow a drum kit, he IS a drum kit. Hell, he's a whole damned orchestra.
Great video! That was so informative! I would LOVE to hear Home Free cover Hughey Lewis "Heart of Rock and Roll" between the harmonica parts and the heart ❤️ beats, it seems made for Adam and Home Free!
To paraphrase: I close my soft palete and I can get kind of crazy stuff to happen. 😆 That’s awesome 😁Although I can appreciate the description of talking like Cartman
We were thinking he must’ve drove his parents a little crazy when he was a little boy making every sound under the sun, trains, gun battles, motor boats, animal sounds . He must’ve had a whole repertoire!
I ALWAYS wanted to know how in the H3LL he did the harmononica...amazing...he must chase 1000's of random sounds in the world down and somehow capture and capture them inside his body... thank you for sharing this!!! LOL
You're welcome. It's the only time I know he talked on camera about it, and it was buried in a 40 min Facebook live chat from a couple of years ago, so I hoped it would be useful to make it more accessible.
Would've been a bit more believable if he'd included a small bit of harmonica imitation sound right on the spot. I still think it's him, but in the man of constant sorrow song, the sound of the harmonica is quite startling for a human to make with only his voice. I believe him, I'd just prefer to see it again.
Brilliant Adam love how you do your harmonica, i can do the same but no where near as good as you, i can also do trumpet and clarinet and other weird noises but nothing on your scale
All I've ever heard of Adam actually singing is the brief, "It is well ..." section of "How Great Thou Art". Has he done other lead parts? I'd like to hear more of his non-beatbox voice.
He isn't very confident about singing lead, so you don't hear much. A line in Quarantine, one in My Country Tis of Thee and there's a VIP Little Saint Nick where he sings a verse...
There are beatboxers, then there's Adam. Michael Winslow (The beatboxer dude from Police Academy. Yeah, I know, I'm a an old dude lol) is trying to figure out how you did your harmonica so well!
I'm glad that I never wasted even more of my life by instead of just repeatedly listening to this, I eventually switched the subtitles on!- tT explain: I thought he'd said "Try an d sound like HARTMAN"! I was trying to sound like Gunney Hartmann from Full Metal Jacke and I got nowhere! When I switched on the subtitles read ""Try an d sound like CARTMAN" (rom Southpark)................. ........ it STILL didn't work! I have a suspicion the missing ingredient for myself is a considerable lack of talent, and for many others with talent, their not having Adam's level of talent.... and/or his (perhaps very unique) biology. :-)
I know- there's a reason Adam Speaks is a Home Free fandom meme. But if you do Facebook, there a whole Q&A linked in the description that this is a clip from. And there's a video on Home Free's channel where they visit his home.
Adam is a difference maker for the a cappella vocal group. Never seen it duplicated to the level he provides HF.
So cool! First time I've ever heard him talking about it! Thx for asking and the share!

Adam may not be able to describe How he does it in human speak but he does it superably
Excellent question.
Dude, you are Superman in my eyes!! Just LOVE you & the others of HF! Thank you!😍
Gotta love this man. He is unbelievable.
Adam you are one awesome beatboxer and singer. Love ya
He actually talked about it and made it public..WOW

He is a very talented man! A freak of nature!
I am a harmonica player(50+ years) and Adam is great on the tune"Man of constant sorrow" !
That's just FREAKING AWESOME! LOVE YOU GUYS!
You mean YOU can do that! I couldn’t do that if my life depended on it lol. But I’m happy you can, because it adds so much to the songs you use it on. I can’t tell you how many reactors I have watched, and their mouths fell open when they heard you do that.🐝🤗❤️
Adam, you are amazingly talented! ❤️
Adam we love you!
I close the soft pallet for the trumpet sound and reverb my front teeth to get the harmonica buzz. Awesome to hear different techniques.
Thank you for sharing, Sally! Adam is awesome!❤
You're welcome - I kept wanting to refer people to it, and it was buried in the middle of a FB live, so I figured it was worth uploading separately. As for Adam, he certainly is.
You are so talented. I love you and all the Home Free group.
Adam you are awesome at what you do!!
You are a fantastic noise maker... I've never seen anybody like you. I really love to watch you do shit that is impossible. Continued success young man.
Best ever
Love him
That’s Talent right there. Just Amazing Adam 😍
Thank you so much for sharing. You are amazing at what you do!
I can't do it but WOW you sure can!! you guys are great!!
Absolutely love you. Your voice, your beatbox, your artistry. Your great all on your own , and an asset to HF.
The coolest thing about Adam is, he plays D&D!
I've played harmonica since I was 8 (59 years ago) and Adam sure could have saved me a TON of money!
Well, if I had his ability. lol
He explained it quite well. Thank you for sharing this, Sally!
You're welcome. 🙂 I kept wanting to tell people about it, but it was buried in a 40 mins FB live, where you can't link to a timestamp, so I figured this was the easiest way of dealing with it.
What you do is simply awesome!
Cartman? CARTMAN? Oh Lord, I didn't expect that! That's a complete riot. I surrender. Adam didn't swallow a drum kit, he IS a drum kit. Hell, he's a whole damned orchestra.
Just saw the show in Tifton, GA on 3/4/22, fantastic!
You are so lucky!!
Adam Rupp is a true musician and like most really talented people don't express themselves thru words, but therir art. in his case sound.
The sound you made during this demonstration reminded me of a trumpet player using his mute. :D Love your work Mr. Rupp.
Vocal/percussion genius!!
He is a master!
Perfect explanation!
Great video! That was so informative! I would LOVE to hear Home Free cover Hughey Lewis "Heart of Rock and Roll" between the harmonica parts and the heart ❤️ beats, it seems made for Adam and Home Free!
did you listen to their "Working for a living"?
@Why Me yes, that is what led me to think Heart of Rock N Roll would be perfect for them.
To paraphrase: I close my soft palete and I can get kind of crazy stuff to happen. 😆 That’s awesome 😁Although I can appreciate the description of talking like Cartman

Your harmonica sounds boggle my mind ! You are so talented
Peace, Love!
Awesome sauce
Half expected him to pull out a harmonica for laughs😄
Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. 🙂
A genius.

I think that is the coolest thing
Adam, would love to hear you master a fiddle and steel guitar to your musical instruments!
Brilliant Adam love how you do your harmonica, i can do the same but no where near as good as you, i can also do trumpet and clarinet and other weird noises but nothing on your scale
really cool. they just know how to work with music
South Park is so universal. He says Cartman and you know.
All I've ever heard of Adam actually singing is the brief, "It is well ..." section of "How Great Thou Art". Has he done other lead parts? I'd like to hear more of his non-beatbox voice.

@@sallymaria Thank you for your input, Sally!!
Did he just sing is auld lang sang and the harmony one that chance starts. Oh the name!!!!!!!
czcams.com/video/gFcSfqYqHs4/video.html
Yes he’s singing.
@@thompson1374 Yes, he's singing, just not singing lead. There are quite a number of 5-part harmonies where he does that.
How interesting!
❤️❤️❤️
Thats how my wife does the Turkey call when my father in law forgets to bring his.
Thanks
Well that's clear. I believe I can do it now. Yeah, it's clear. Clear as mud!
There are beatboxers, then there's Adam. Michael Winslow (The beatboxer dude from Police Academy. Yeah, I know, I'm a an old dude lol) is trying to figure out how you did your harmonica so well!
Michael Winslow did an amazing job in “Police Academy...”!
@@corinnepmorrison1854 There's a reason he is known as "The man of 10,000 sounds". Winslow is an effects machine, even to this day.
faking a harmonica is one thing i do that....but the sustained high notes on fake harmonica is clearly next level.....i commend you
I was thinking of a more refined version of a rubber chicken's noise.
He’s so adorable. Good grief.
🤘😎🤘
Makes sense
0:31-0:37 When you squeeze the rubber chickens in the store

Have you ever beatboxed through a digerydoo
GREAT Question motorhead359. Didgeridoos are SOOO Awesome would Love to hear that from Adam. I Love HF All of You Guys.❤🎼❤
See you next FURZE DAY
I have NEVER heard you speak before this video. I actually had to go to Google to make sure you were the guy from home free
I know- there's a reason Adam Speaks is a Home Free fandom meme.
But if you do Facebook, there a whole Q&A linked in the description that this is a clip from. And there's a video on Home Free's channel where they visit his home.
What'd he say? J/K, so cool.
Sounded like elmo
Try and talk like Cartman... Bahahahahaha
Jesus loves everyone
I thought Kenny was the one who didn't have "words". Did Adam confuse himself?
It's really simple. You're not a human.
Sure Adam. Easy for you to say/do....lol
