  • Mini Sweet Samosa - the ultimate Diwali dessert! 🪔
    With Gold Drop Refined Sunflower Oil, add the spark of authentic flavour to your celebrations!
    Ingredients:
    Sooji (rava)- 1 cup
    Water- 2 cups
    Sugar- 1 ¹/² cup
    Maida- 200 grams
    Ajwain- 1/4 tsp
    Salt- 1/4 tsp
    Ghee- 1/2 cup
    Food colour (optional)- a pinch
    Cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp
    Cashew nuts- 10-12
    Raisins- 10-12
    Gold Drop Refined Sunflower Oil for deep frying
    Method:
    Add maida, ajwain, 1 tsp of sugar, 1 tbsp of ghee, 1/4 ts of salt in a bowl and mix it together. Then gradually add water & make a dough (similar to poori dough).
    For the stuffing, add a tablespoon of ghee, cashew nuts and raisins. Fry the dry fruits & set them aside in a bowl. Add sooji and fry for 5-6 minutes in the same ghee. Then, add 2 cups of water & cook for 4-5 minutes more. Add food colour at this stage if needed. Add 1 ¹/² cup of sugar & let the mixture thicken. Finally, add cardamom powder and fried dry fruits. Mix it up & let it cool down. Make samosas with the dough & stuff the halwa in the samosas. Add oil for deep fry in another kadai, switch on the flame & before heating up the oil, drop the samosas one by one & fry on medium flame until they are golden & then serve.
