DX5 Rugged review

- While I haven't had this radio for very long, I have used it for a month to get a feel and as good of a review that I can give. This radio does have a few things i don't like, but plenty of things I do. I hope this review is helpful and thanks for watching!

These are a great radio but really has some draw backs , like water resistant , not really , but you get what you pay for . The dx5 pro has better packaging but better price . The reason they use that type of packaging is actually a good thing , its completely recyclable were as Flysky , where they do make top of the line transmitters , they dont care as much about the environment with styrofoam packaging ..
I didn’t like seeing the controller covered in mud when they say water resistant. Water resistant and water proof are completely different. I can agree on the packaging part.
@@kellsrc With all the holes from the bumper guard and the channel switches exposed to rain and ya covered in mud not really water proof but still better then some , just like when you go to a fast food joint , the burger you get is northing like the picture they show , and i am not a tree hugger just answering the question on packaging . My only complaint is battery life on my dx5c.
Battery life is short for sure. There has been a few times I thought I had enough battery life only to find out I didn’t. I do wish they had a way to put a lipo battery in it.
@@kellsrc good it’s not just me or my rechargeable batteries :))) I ll be converting to lipo eventually. I always carry extra rechargeable batteries as well. I may be getting a fly sky for the 6 channels….
@@Djkommode The flysky is definitely a great radio. Especially in the repair department.
