Silver Price Down TODAY? NO. Not at All. An Ounce of Physical Silver yesterday still weighs the SAME today. Not down, not EVEN a gram. Fiat "bets" may have been waged today. Only to be cancelled tomorrow. So WHAT? Physical Silver still NEEDS to be delivered to India & China for Solar/PV and for ALL industrial uses (in a Silver deficit market). Lower SUPPLY & Greater DEMAND = Higher VALUE of Silver into the future, ALL GOOD Folks. Stack SILVER Basement Dwellers !
Manufacturing consumes approximately 1.4 billion ounces of silver. The production of silver to meet demand is at best 900 million ounces. Manufacturing has a current deficit of 400 million plus ounces of silver. This is their data. Why is nobody discussing manufacturing not having silver to meet quota......

Hi Ron … Been accumulation observations (all charts & anomalies to my knowledge never presented) for decades (may write a book). Anyway in terms of cups & domes the translation is interesting. With a inverted dome & cups it can be viewed as an increasing willingness to buy and a decreasing willingness to sell which forms cup like appearances (or inverted domes). In terms of stocks there are things which can be harnessed to our advantage, specifically the GTC orders. With a GTC (Good Till Canceled) they’re a tool for busy non day trader investors to get in or get out of a stock. So back to a cup & tops, many will (out of FOMO) will use a GTC to buy upon a breach tops (likewise bears use GTC to get out of shorts when a top is breached. Together these yield fast upside moves in the initial breach. So what have we today another retest of the bottom, what I am watching for is a continued build of the cup, since there is a decreasing willingness to sell at that “bottom” and likely the increasing willingness to buy at those levels. That’s my take on things here today

Trump gets into office, military gets restocked, which means huge amounts of silver will be used for manufacture of ordnance. Scarcer silver for investing.

Beg to differ, not a head and shoulder. Needs to be cleaner and more obvious, The most recent activity is more telling. Cant you see the small double top and price is likely forming on a third top. See what happens could go either way.
I don't undrstand why the gold to silver ratio is now 79.5 to 1
Paper silver makes the supply look 40ox more than exists so the market price is skewed
The reason for that RATIO is the price of GOLD is 79.5 times the price of Silver. Hence the gold to silver ratio is 79.5. If the price of gold went to 80 times the price of silver, the gold to silver ratio would be 80. Another way to look at the 79.5 ratio is that the silver to gold ratio is 0.0125762 ... but it easier to do it the other way.

Someone please explain to me. If Gold and silver are priced in "dollars" when the dollar collapses how will someone value an ounce of silver or gold?
Let’s hope it’s the other way around and dollars are valued in ounces of gold and silver. That would require more dollars to purchase gold and silver.
I think that is the rationale.
You can value it by how much food you can get with it, how much fuel you can get, how much land. The price of silver in US dollars is just one of many comparisons you can make
