God brought me from a baptist, and a pentacostal, and a holiness where all minds were not the same and took me to an apostolic church where all minds are in one accord. I am thankful to my Father for his direction and for being baptized in Jesus name. I have been baptized before in The Father The Son The Holy Ghost but when he placed me in this church he led me to the water in the Spirit. Had no idea I was even gonna be baptized that day. I am a PENTACOSTAL APOSTOLIC AND JESUS IS GOD.

people that are not Pentecostal and that have not been raised in a Church with the gifts of the SPIRIT. Just don't understand you will never understand the way the Spirit movies you until you receive HIM. when I was younger I was said I don't know if I want to shake when the Spirit of the LORD is upon me. NOW I say LORD turn me around shake me up spin me just let me stay in your presence.The HOLY SPIRIT is a comforter when you need to be lifted up and feel like giving up. (but there are gifts of the spirit, another level that GOD can take you.(but GOD says I stand at the door and knock if you open the door. I am not Pentecostal and have not been raised in a church, but at age 21 I began to go to an Apostolic church and then at age 22 I received the Holy Ghost. I became his, the father's. You said something wrong there in your message, just because someone was not raised does not mean they cannot understand and the people who are not Pentecostal-- what about the Apostolics? "We are Apostolic in Every way" Be wary of your words, I support both Apostolic and Pentecostal faith.
I am a Pentecostal in all there is about being a Pentecostal for over 70 years now. The Church on 3200 Ames Blvd in Marrero, La I built it back in 1980. But I first went to the Church when it was on Claire Ave in Gretna further back. It was there I helped my Dad who did the first remodeling of that Church on Claire when the Preacher asked him to fix it up. Dad has since passed on to be with the Lord several years ago. So I have been a major fixer upper at the new Church since it was first built in 1980. And today after several hurricanes still standing tall as ever. We do have 4 to 6 young Ladies who sing every Sunday in the morning along with 1 or 2 young gentleman. We do also broadcast live services am and pm also Wednesdays Bible study services too. I can't say these young Ladies are just great but when they get going and the Lord starting moving on them then it all breaks loose and the Church starts going wild with dancing and running. Even a few times at Church there was a singing jamboree of songs and worship to the point that the Pastor stood back and didn't preach because he was worshiping as much as the rest of us were. Amen and Glory to God in the Highest...

When my family was Pentecostal, my father had terminal cancer. On one really emotional service, our pastor laid his hands on my father and they both prayed and repented for their sins. My pastor was shouting in tongues for a long time and then he just stopped all of a sudden. His eyes were wide, and he whispered to my father, "The Lord Jesus has just healed you of cancer." The service from then on was wild.
Two weeks later my father died from pancreatic cancer.

Why do Pentecostals get dissed so much? WE AREN'T trash OR lairs. We base out faith on the bible. And those who believe in the "Father, son, and the Holy Ghost" guys listen. ACTS 2:38 CLEARLY states that you should get baptized ONLY in Jesus name. That's proof. Oh and another thing....Why do you think there's more than one god? The Ten Commandments says that "Thy shalt not put any other GOD before ME!" You're putting like three gods before Jesus.

Ethan, people don't want to know the FULL truth because that means they'll have to repent. People are comfortable going to church on sunday then going home till next week and really living the way they want. As far as Jesus name baptism, Jesus said he came in the fathers name. He also said that he glorified his fathers name. Nowhere in the NT do we find any other name than Jesus. If the apostles didn't fulfill Jesus commission then we have a BIG problem. He said baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost and they did that every time. Jesus is the name of the Father. Jesus is the name of the Son and Jesus is the name of the Holy Ghost. Why can't people just do it the way they did it in the Bible. Did they elaborate in the Bible? How many were baptized in the Bible? No elaboration was done then and I'm quite sure there were other Jesus's then. IN fact "Yeshua" was the name of several people in the OT. Peter baptized in Jesus name. Paul baptized in Jesus name. They knew what they were doing.
Are you mocking Pe. 3:3? What is your question there? The Strong's concordance renders "plaiting" as to mean "braiding". The original greek word is"empleko" No Pentecostal that I know braids there hair. Does that help you Mr. Desertprarie?

In the book of acts 2:38 clearly states that we are suppose "then Peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remissons of ur sins and ye shall recieve the Holy Ghost " Pentecostals believe in the Holy Ghost speaking in other youngest I know as a young pastor of a pentacostal church we believe that you must repent and be baptized to be saved and that's true if u don't believe me look up Cody Marks on CZcams and the book of acts states what pentacostal is actually read it after you read the books of Acts you'll understand god bless Ethan

I love a church that has a lot of spirit
This song makes me cringe. I was raised Pentecostal and left the church as an adult. I left after studying the bible for myself and realiazing I had been taught lies my whole life. Now don't get me wrong, they have some truth...a little...but their religion is based on man made rules and restrictions. For the most part they are a very judgmental religion. When I left I was shunned by some of the people I had known my whole life. That was eye opening as well. Talk about love but show hate. Don't get me wrong tho. I never left God because he is always love and truth. I just sought him in a different venue. And I now walk in peace and happiness. Read the bible for yourself. Never let man tell you what to believe.
Better live for and do for God while there is still time in your life...obey God......praise God.

I grew up in a none denominational church & about a year ago went to a pentecostal church with my cousin & his wife & could feel Jesus the very frist day! Gods' word is a reflection of him and truth. We now live in the new testament, We are not to pass judgement on anyone but should lead the souls unto God. I believe that he is Jesus and is more than powerful enough on his own to show his people his Face, grace, glory, and their direction with him. To do that we lead them to the baptismal portion holding their hands to deliver to the King, where from there he helps adjust to His calling and his Name. Thats what God meant to be fruitful & multiply
