One home that I had built was 5000 square feet, with 7 1/2 A of land. I never stored anything in the basement. We had a walk-up attic and believed me it was full. I now live in the South with no basement. I have a small walk-in attic where I keep my seasonal items. I have clear bins as well. I have downsized now. I am older than you. I am 69 now. I still love to decorate for the seasons like you. Your home is beautiful, and everyone has different taste and likes. I say do what makes your heart happy. Keep on shining! My decorating style is NOT the same as yours, however that's not why I watch your videos. I find them calming and inspiring when I need to clean or tackle a project I've been avoiding. Luckily my husband has a shop so it’s all mine. But every spring & fall I go through everything & get rid of more and more and reorganize. My style has become way more minimal now that we’re empty nesters but I love watching how everyone else keeps their home. Just because I like things a certain way doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate how others do things. I love your channel & you have such a lovely home. No need for anyone to ever leave nasty comments over decor! 🙄

I have so much seasonal decor that I have filled 4 giant metal shelving units. In my opinion, have whatever decor you want to make your home how you want it! Your home is sooooo lovely. I like a more is more decorating style as well, not cluttered, but a robust assortment of the things I love. I Love your decor style! I put index card size clear sleeves from Amazon on my bins and then just use non-lined 3x5 index cards to label them. When I change the bin, I simply remove the index card and insert a new one.
