When i was but 4 years old my parents watched some kind of tv-show and i only remember a lot of ppl with red and yellow shawls of some sort dance. This music was played back then and it left an impression on me for my whole life. From time to time i heard it in the radio but i never found out its name. And every time i would feel my heartbeat to it. Today i was sitting in the car with a collegue and the song played and i was about to shout out my frustration since it hasn't been announced by name and then he took his phone and just like that got the name of that song. You won't believe what im feeling right now...
It sounds like you are describing the music video that went with this. If I remember rightly, it was a carnival of face painted people dressed as animals :-)
Songs too damn hard to find...beta mama has like 30 different songs by different ppl...then this comes up on the sidebar...finally the REAL Heya Mama song from the 90's
Takes me back - In a minibus with a load of like minded "County Lads", on the way back from an away game (Norwich) in the 1997/98 season. We had this blaring out full blast and the minibus doors open :) Unaware to us at the time we were having the times of our life, on and off the field. We stopped off in Newark on the way home and drank the place dry before embarking on our journey back. This song reminds me of the feeling that night. Yes! we belonged!!
Who would of thought that thirteen year old scout patrol leader beating out Axel F on the piano to amuse us all them years back would go on to produce done great tunes. Well done Paul, keep em coming
What I wouldn't give to go back to 1998, back when the world wasn't so fцcked up.The world was a much much better place back then. Everybody's so busy today, I miss the old days.
hey jack you're right, i miss old days when family and friends are important, and everybody have time, it was a beautiful habit to spend it with your dear people.... i say.
The world was fucked up, we didnt notice it as much because the internet was not as big as it is now. The world is worse now compared to then, but still.

It seems that I'm not the only one who was looking for this song for YEARS! Practically...for years! And found it! Oh my god, I was 6 years old back in '97, I was waiting for hours to see the music video of this song! And hearing it now... Priceless! It has such a positive feeling, and no negative comments for this track....I LOVE THIS SONG!
I really didnt want to go on a night out, and i went anyway, i was like lifes too short to sit at home feeling sorry for myself! The band playing had a mix of this song and 'I just came to say hello' when i heard it come on, despite having had the crapiest week of my life, i felt okay! The next day I found the band on facebook to ask them what the song was because i had been looking for it for literally the last 5 years
WOW. As Far as I remember, this song came out in 98'. Back in 98' I was 5 years old. I always listened to this song with my brother :D I love it! Awesome nostalgic trip...
This is such a tune in the simple fact it sends me back to when I first heard this song... Back in my kitchen as a little lad. Mum had it on cassette. Me and my sister would dance along. no cares in the world. Great times.
Last real good time in my life, before I knew real pain. 14 and still brings bk so many emotions. Glad to say all happy ones. Robert miles children is another good one. Shit im on an old school flex this morning. 😀
I remember that I returned crazy dancing to this powerful surround song there are no words to express what makes me feel this wonderful song always only want to close my eyes and and float
I have heard this song all over the place. It's used so often for movies, commercials, nearly everything over the years, and I had absolutely no idea what it was called or who produced it despite this frequency (admittedly I was redirected here because of Hat Films, but let's not be annoying about it, Hatters).
Ignoring all the rhetoric, the "Hey ma ma ma" part is sampled from "Life In A Northern Town" by Dream Academy which was originally release in 1985 and is well worth a look ~ it can also be found on CZcams...
This was when the clubbing scene was on its last legs but then a song like this would come out and give you hope and let you reminisce that one last time.

Thats a big downside of technology. Yes, it provides human kind with benefits but when it aims to make us come closer it actually makes us more alone.
