South American crowds have that passion with rock/metal music. We don’t see the bands come here too often like they do in USA, so we live THE moment at its fullest

They sing "Megadeth Megadeth aguante Megadeth" which translates to "Megadeth Megadeth play forever Megadeth".
Or "I support Megadeth", "Go Megadeth", etc.
I remember when Megadeth did a huge worldwide tour. So it was 2000 and something. The "football countries" of Europe also chanted "Megadeth Megadeth aguante Megadeth". So when Megadeth was going to play here in Finland, a reporter asked are we going to do the same thing. The Finnish fans said "no" for two reasons. We see our scene unique, so we don't copy others. Also to show respect to Argentina we don't want to spoil it. Drunken Finnish are terrible to sing and keep the tune (Watch any Satyricon live with their song "Mother North" filmed here in Finland and you'll see what I mean). Well the audience shouted "Megadeth, Megadeth, fuck yeah (it's) Megadeth in Finnish. When Dave heard it afterwards he laughed. But oh boy weren't comments here in CZcams saying that why didn't the Finnish people shout what you were "suppose" to shout, expect the fans from Argentina. They said it was good that at least one audience didn't copy.

I’ve seen Megadeth countless times in the 80’s-90’s, and they were ALWAYS good. Dave’s songwriting, and guitar playing is phenomenal. I met him a couple of years ago by accident. I went into a Guitar Center in Cherry Hill, NJ, and he was there signing autographs promoting a show they had in Philly later that night. I got lucky and was the last one in line before they stopped. He was a very cool, down to earth guy. He talked to my wife, and I for about 10 minutes. I’m 57, so I wasn’t “star struck”. We talked about getting older, touring, and music in general. We had a pretty good conversation, and he seemed like he wanted to talk some more, but his people told him he had to go. We shook hands, and parted ways. He signed a poster he had on table, and went and grabbed a couple of their new CD’s out of a box, signed those, and gave us both a copy. Definitely a memorable occasion, as I was already a fan since my teens.

That’s just not true. They sound good but they were at their height in the 90’s. Dave could belt it out in the original key back then. Not to mention tear through those solos

South America has some epic concerts.
So much fun. Seen them live 4 times 2 of them front row just few feet away and always a great time. Dave's lyrics are always thought invoking and he often uses metaphors.

what you perceived as a cut is sometimes called a "breakdown" in a song. to the untrained ear it could sound like a false beat or missing time. its a sudden drop in tempo before getting back to the ass kicking. it sounds like an audio cut to the uninitiated. its meant to wake you up if you get locked in. I assure you its a part of the act/song.
In fact the studio version is very in your face, even though it isn't all-out thrash. It's just that the live version has a lot looser sound to it. It doesn't kick you the same way. This recording is pretty much solely for enjoying the audience which is terrific.
Quick recap: Hamlin's rat infestation was ended by the piper, and when he billed them for the agreed wage, they stiffed him, so the same way he made the rats follow him to their drowning with his flute, he did that to the children of Hamlin. Moral of the story: Pay your professionals.

@@MW-cx3sb I actually saw Alice In Chains, Anthrax, Megadeth and Slayer in one show and Slayer was phenomenal. I mainly went to see Megadeth because of what I said earlier. What a good show. Anthrax played entirely too long but a good show nonetheless 🤘🏻🔥💥🙏🏻💯

This also the same for Iron Maiden concerts as well in Mexico all the way to Argentina. Columbia even has a Church of Iron Maiden. I seen quite of few of the videos of both of these bands and the energy is powerful.

nobody loves metal music more than South American crowds. they are probably the most responsive and loyal fans there are. i mean how many people were singing back to Dave near the end of the song? enough to be heard clearly beside the volume of the sound system. Viva South America

is a song with a political approach, which shows how people are manipulated by the system
bad live version to react, the people chant is not part of the song, it was invented in argentine and this vid is way later, you should reacto to the live version when this chant was sang first.
I think this song is more relavent today with the politics we have right now with Trump running.
Since we already know how Trump leads (he was already President) I fail to see the relevancy you speak of.

There are many reasons why you shouldn't be a fan of Dave Mustaine. He was kicked out of Metallica due to his drug problems and then tried to copy Metallica to ride on their fame. Additionally, he is a racist and a narcissist. Many Megadeth fans often forget the terrible things he's done. That's why I don't support Megadeth-they're just a cheap imitation of Metallica, and because of Dave, you shouldn't support them either.

I mean Megadeth isn't actually heavy by any stretch of the imagination. Compared to modern prog this kind of metal is extremely dull and boring.
