HST Power Car 43002 Sir Kenneth Grange at the National Railway Museum in York.

Preserved HST Power Car 43002 Sir Kenneth Grange is seen on display at the National Railway Museum in York.
In 2016 to mark the 40th anniversary of the class 43002 was named after Sir Kenneth Grange who was the designer of the HST (High Speed Train) - The Intercity 125.
The HST is one of the most successful and iconic trains to operate on British Railways.
Sadly Sir Kenneth Grange passed away aged 95 on the 22nd July 2024.
