Man, that first song still fills me with a sense of wonder and also trepidation, imagining some new city or dungeon I may find, while dreading orc attacks. Being a kid and having this new world to explore, in a game that still left plenty to the imagination, was such a great combination for getting immersed into an RPG back in those days. Also, no walkthroughs or online boards to seek help. You were ON YOUR OWN! Of course, the rest of the soundtrack is awesome, too. Thanks for posting this!
What version of 64 did you play it on? When i was a kid, I played the 64 version on a 128. The 128's SID chip is slightly different and has minor sound differences. I believe the model C of the 64 also had a slightly different chip and sounded different than the original 64. Perhaps this is played on a later model 64?
I was 15 when I got my first copy. you had to pull the disk out at the right time to get the game to load. good times.... i bought a legit copies of Ultima TV and V so Lord British made his money off me..f all you haters!
