BikingMan Portugal 2019 - the FILM

- In September 2019, 97 athletes gathered in Faro for the first edition of the BikingMan Portugal, a self-supported ultracycling race. They shared one common objective: reaching the finish of a 950km loop around the Algarve and Alentejo regions.

Bonjour, super film, bravo à tous ça donne envie.
Contrairement aux autres courses du même type, cette BikingMan au Portugal est chaleureuse, avenante et solidaire. En 2022, je prendrai l'avion de Montréal, au Québec, pour réaliser mon rêve de participer à une de vos courses. D'ici-là, je m'entrainerai avec l'objectif de terminer sereinement un très beau tour de vélo en Europe. On se voit bientôt. Amitiés.

vous avez une idée de routes à nous suggérer?
@@BikingMan tu as la route et chemin du bord de mer bien connus des personnes qui font saint Jacque de Compostelle et des que tu sors des plages tu peux te retrouver avec les cols mythiques de la vuelta don l angliru ou tu as des portions de route a 23 %

That guy with the Garmin that wouldn't load the route. After years of buggy Garmin problems - particularly routes - I gave up and switched to Wahoo Roam. No more bugs. Garmin better have fixed their problems with the latest models
True that they still have a long way to go Brett with their file management system which keeps provoking system crashes for no reasons. It still happens to Axel with the Garmin 1030 operating system.
BikingMan by the way I love watching your videos of your events. So inspiring. The grit, determination, the small tragedies and big joys. I have fond memories of Portugal, backpacking through there (and many places) 20 yrs ago as a young man but now I am far away in Australia so unlikely to be able to test myself in one of these great challenges. We have our Indian Pacific Wheel Race across Australia so I get my adventure kicks now dot watching these events. Keep it up.

Why is the Brazilian dude the only one speaking Portuguese?
O estranho é ser uma prova em Portugal e ser o unico a falar português. Eu podia ter escrito em inglês mas lá está é uma prova em Portugal. Se não entenderes vai ao google tradutor.
Pourquoi en anglais ?? La plupart des coureurs sont de langue latine !! Y'en à marre de l'anglais partout, surtout quand il est inutile ! (j'habite en Californie, j'adore l'anglais !)
parce qu'il faut bien choisir? Quand parmi la majorité des coureurs, la langue la plus facile à comprendre est l'anglais tout simplement
@@BikingMan Je vous remercie sincèrement d'avoir répondu, mais je ne suis toujours pas d'accord, ou en tous cas, c'est un vrai problème, y'a de l'anglais partout, c'est trop facile... Ca commence à être un vrai problème...
C'est vraiment frustrant... mais encore une fois, merci de votre réponse... croyez-moi je comprends, c'est la facilité, vous avez des concurrents qui sont tout contents de parler français etc... bref, j'arrête là parce que c'est trop frustrant et encore une fois je peux vous comprendre aussi...

Channel name and description in English then talks in French!!! Why not do everything in French? I guess it wouldn't mean so many views or subscribers. Come on speak English. It is widely spoken and understood. You do want to grow your channel?
Have you seen we spent a considerable amount of time on subtitles in English? Portugal event has mainly been possible because of French volunteers who are being interviewed in this film and who are not speaking fluently in English, yes it happens more often than you might think. It's as simple as that.
@@AxelCarionexplorer The subtitles are amazing. I was surprised how well they worked in every language spoken throughout the video.
