I’m definitely going to have to check out this jackhammer chatter bait! My all time favorite is a rattlin chug bug from Storm, if you have the chance definitely Check it out, it’s a top water popper with little steel balls inside that rattle when you pop it and it has a nice grass skirt that hides the hook. I’ve caught more large mouth bass, smallmouth bass among other fish with that lure than any other, obviously in the right conditions for top water. Other then that I like to use a krokodile, it’s a spoon lure that waddles through the water several feet below the surface, great all around lure but especially good for big trout but I’ve caught some nice bass on them as well. Those two lures and a blue fox #3 have been my top 3 lures for many years, with those three I can catch almost any species. Thanks for the podcast, I really enjoy it and appreciate all of you sharing your time and telling us your stories. I have a serious question that maybe you all can address on a future podcast, throughout your lives have any of you had tough times or whatever it may be that made you question your faith? I was born and raised catholic and am 47 years old now and have struggled with my faith know y’all are men of god and are all honest good people, can you please share your honesty about this subject? I’d truly appreciate all of your insight and experience on that subject. Thanks again for all you guys do, it’s truly appreciated . If this is something you’d rather not discuss I’m sure you have your reasons but in today’s day and the things going on around the world I’m sure there are others who would like to hear your insight and personal experience.
