Hi everyone this is Latasha I just wanna update y’all on my kids they all have graduated from high school also went off to college they gotten basketball scholarships and also my daughter was her class of 2021 Valedictorian she currently entering her junior year in college so thank you all for all the prayers and support
I just wanted to let you know that even though this video is from a while ago it came at the right time for me. Today is the day that marks the 6th year since my youngest son passed away from a sudden cardiac arrhythmia, he was 19 and wasn't sick or on drugs. He was watching tv at our house with my youngest brother then suddenly started taking very deep breaths and passed out. I was out visiting my dad who was in the nursing home basically after 3 years of being sick, when I got the news that he passed out. He was unfortunately gone before I got to the hospital. My other two children an oldest son was 21 and my daughter was 9. Long story short ,we normally go visit him on this day ,but today unfortunately his dad and I had to work. I just so happened to come upon this video and when I saw your oldest son I almost fell out because he looked exactly like my son that passed away. I had to screenshot it and send it to his dad and my oldest son just to make sure I wasn't tripping . His name is Gianni and he would have been 25 this year. We were going through some rough times before his sudden passing, but since then despite a few ups and downs we're doing better. I feel like even though I didn't get to go visit his resting place he still came through to show us that he's still with us in spirit even if it came in the form of your video. I'm glad to know that you and your children are doing well and I pray for y'all continued peace, blessings and we'll being. If I figure out a way to share a pic of him on here I will. Thank you again for sharing your story and updates 🙏

I'm the single mom of 3 children, two with disabilities. I as well, am disabled. There was nothing easy about rising them. They are all grown now. I embraced everything inside myself including giving up a career to stay at home with them. I have no regrets. Steve, when you start crying....you get me crying pretty hard too. My heart is right with the family you just helped. God Bless you Steve. Happy Birthday too!

Steve was homeless living out of his car before. You can tell @4:52 he empathizes with their struggle and pain. As a father, seeing those kids crying, he knows what its like to be a parent and struggle. He wasn't always a success. Seeing their emotions is like looking in a mirror. He is looking at them like they are him, like they are his own. This is a very human moment.

Mr. Steve Harvey, I absolutely love what you do for all these people. You have a Heart of solid Gold. It’s too late for me cause I’m already OLD. I’m 66 years old, I receive a Disability check every month due to my mental illnessES. I struggle every month and the money is gone before the month is. I have 11 days before I get my next check, and I have $3.72 in my bank account. I have 2 Sons. My oldest is in the Army, and is overseas right now, 07-17-22. I worry about him 24-7. My other Son HATES ME because I divorced his Father that was cheating on me. I just couldn’t live that way any longer. That Son now has my only Grandchild, a boy. He and his “partner” no longer let me see my Grandson because they say I’m always picking fights with them. The truth is, when they were struggling, I started giving them money, buying their groceries many times, paid their rent probably 4 times, and paid their utilities several times. From the time my Grandson was born, til he was about 9, I TOTALLY supported him. I bought his Clothes incl., jackets, winter coats, school supplies, school pictures, (which I haven’t been given one in 3 or 4 years.) I paid ALL School fees, incl. lunches, school, trips AND SEVERAL of his Birthday parties. I don’t need to go on, you can see. Now, back to why they HATE ME. I am now broke. My retirement and savings are gone. They are mad because I used to ask them to repay me for some of the things I did for them. They don’t like that. They tell me it doesn’t work that way. About 2 hours ago, I asked my Son if I could BORROW $5.00. I had $5.00, and was gonna go to the store to get just a couple things to eat. He didn’t have the common decency to even answer my text. I just wanted to explain one thing I’m dealing with. We no longer have a Food Pantry in our town because of COVID. I have had 7 spine surgeries, and the bills for all the tests, office visits, etc, is where a lot of my check goes. In that divorce, I lost my home because I couldn’t afford the mortgage payment. I was paying my ex $800.00 per month for child support, cause I had a good job at the time, he was “disabled” and MY Sons chose to live with him. I also lost a nice vehicle. He took 40% of my Retirement, and half of my job savings account. They were teenagers, and KNEW that if they lived with me, they’d have to walk the line. THAT ALONE truly broke my Heart. I missed out on so much of their high school events cause they never shared the dates and times with me. I started calling other parents, called their school, and read the paper to find out what they’d be doing. This was hard and humiliating. Of course they’re adults now, well, my oldest is. I have no contact with the Son that has my Grandson; we only live 2 doors from each other. We used to do things together a lot. But I guess when my money ran out, so did they. They both have really good jobs now. They went on Vacation during Thanksgiving, and just got back from a 10 day Vacation last week. I KNOW that this money thing with them is my fault, I should’ve cut them off and thought about myself, but I never have. I guess we’re different generations, and me thinking they should pay me back at least something is due to my raising. If I got money or bills paid for me when I was their age, and said, I’ll pay you back, I PAID THE PERSON BACK! I AM SORRY I HAVE TYPED SO MUCH. I truly DID NOT MEAN TO. Well, I’m getting to my Main point. Today, Sunday, July 17, 2022,
I decided to Kill Myself. The above is most of the reason. But, I am so alone, AND SO VERY LONELY! I have NO Friends, but that’s another story. My Family has turned their backs on me and I just felt what’s the reason for me to even be here; none. THEN, I saw YOU ON CZcams. You talked about having FAITH and God will pull you through. Then I watched the video of Bishop Jakes on your show. Then I started Steve Harvey BINGING. All the things you said WENT STRAIGHT TO MY HEART! I prayed & prayed. I’ve considered myself a Christian most of my life. But, I just lost my Faith through all this “stuff” in my life. EVEN THOUGH I WAS PREPARED AND READY TO DO “IT,” because of YOUR WORDS and GREAT ENCOURAGEMENT, I changed my mind. I haven’t yet gotten my Bible out, but I promise I will tomorrow. I CANNOT BEGIN TO THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR WITNESSING TO ME! I would NEVER be ABLE TO REPAY YOU! My biggest fear now, is that YOU WILL NEVER SEE THIS! I am 99.9999% sure you will not. It’s just so important to me that you know this. Well, it has been Great Therapy for me writing all this. Again, to You, or anyone that might read this, I deeply apologize for the length. I’d say the MAJORITY of people that see how very long it is, will pass on by, and I don’t blame them. Steve, I pray God’s Abundant Blessings and Protection over You, and ALL Your Family, ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIVES!
