  • eBags Crew Cooler II Lunch Bag Review
    So many people have enquired about how I pack a chopped salad to take with me and what kind of lunch box I use. Today I am happy to share with you the amazing eBag Crew Cooler II that Tom and I both have and use all the time. It is the perfect size for the containers we use for our big beautiful Chopped Salad containers. It holds our travel size bottles of California Balsamic Vinegars too. It is light weight but yet durable and was designed with flight attendents in mind so it's also perfect for travel.

    I have had the same bag for a few years. I love it! It is extremely sturdy and shows no wear after many uses. I got one for my girlfriend who travels for work. I also highly recommend them.

    I have the same ebag in turquoise. I love it. I have the same ice thingys too! I put my ice on the bottom. It is a little heavy, but the quality is unsurpassed.

    What a great idea! I like the eggplant color.
    Wondering if those ice packs will pass TSA, or if they'd be considered a "liquid"? Does your friend who flies with this bag have feedback on that?
    Thanks again so much!

    • @NutmegNotebook
      @NutmegNotebook  Před 5 lety

      As long as they are frozen you can take the ice packs in your carry on. If they are thawed out you have to put them in your checked bags.

    does TSA let you bring salads and baked sweet potatoes? I will be traveling in a few weeks, considering this, hard to find food in layover airports.

      Jackie Horn yes, I recently traveled and had a salad in my backpack with a 3oz vinegar and it went thru TSA.

    Could i take that cooler bag with salad and fruit on the plane as my carry on.Never know what food i can take.Going to Colorado and that would be so good not to have to worry about eating plane food?

    • @NutmegNotebook
      @NutmegNotebook  Před 5 lety

      Yes you can. As long as your ice packs are frozen they can pass TSA. Salad dressing or vinegar count towards your liquid limit but if it's already on your salad it doesn't count. You can freeze hummus and it will go through TSA but not frozen they don't allow it. You can take rice, potatoes, veggies, fruit and the like.

      @@NutmegNotebook I have taken hummus unfrozen in a small container through tsa but they might have mistaken it for peanut butter.

    I used my ebag products for many years. Much to my dismay, Samsonite bought the company out and flushed it down the toilet. The ebag products used to be second to none in quality and workmanship, not to mention great design. I guess Samsonite wanted to destroy their competition. I called them to get a replacement liner for my crew cooler. (Lifetime Guarantee) They never called back even after several calls. They don't even answer their phone. I emailed them. Never got anything back out of that either. Very sad. Hopefully, somebody will take a couple of of their great items and copy them.

      Do you recomend another brand for a crew cooler? I was trying to looking forward for triste one, but i Just realize its'n exist now 😢

    • @jnicksnewstart
      @jnicksnewstart Před 26 dny

      @jackyp974 MOJECTO brand, large insulated lunch bags on Amazon seem to be very similar. I have not seen one or held one in person, so I can't speak for the quality of the materials. but the design is almost identical. They have a 3.9 out of 5 rating for customer satisfaction. I use my ebag crew cooler on a weekly basis. The second that I have any more failures, I'm going to order one of these from Amazon. They have the same design in a couple different sizes. Make sure you select the size that's best for you. Good luck.
