Every time you added something to the cab I thought "Great. Nice finishing touch". I would have finished there. But then you did more and more and each time I thought you'd blow it. I actually got nervous. But it just got better and better. Excellent work. Looks spectacular. Thanks for the vid.

The thick layer of the 2 powders is hands down the best heavy rust effect I've seen. It really looks like their are big flakes of rust

Great transformation. Looks like something right from the original Mad Max movies.
Nice work, give Magic wash a try (50/50 water, future floor polish and add some ink stir, add some more, etc. until you get the desired color). It'll save you some time. Just dip the whole thing, boom done.
Actually I was just watching a Luke Aps video about a similar way to make washes, they worked awesome.

Wonderful build, I learned a few new tricks I'll put into use tomorrow. If I may, try not to start so many sentences with "I...". When you write your vocal part count the number of times you say it and you may be shocked. I had this problem in school and didn't even know it until a college lit professor clued me in. Great work on the truck! I might actually make some of those panels tonight so they are ready to use tomorrow.
that is pure awesomeness :) I am impressed with the amount of details you put on that tiny scale car. And the layers of paints makes it very natural.

I was going to throw a fit about the PUTTY PLATING ... then -- as you laid them on ... holy Mad Max! It struck me that in a post-Apocalyptic world, many people would be making 'Pig-Iron' and curing them in the sand and getting them quickly attached to whatever it was needed. In your case, a beat to heck Zombie-Killing Fuel Carrying Freightliner. Hence, looking very much like what you created. In short, wowza. BRAVO-! You got a new fan in moi.

Might I suggest you take a quick look at the models done by "Laser Creation World". I know your not trying to do the same things, but he shows how to use pigments, washes, oils, paints, in fact just about everything to create exactly the look you want, whether it be old, rusted and rotting, to revamped, restored and pristine. I have learned an amazing amount from him. I really like the overall final effect and think it all comes together really nicely.

My Dream is to make a Mad Max/Zombie Apocalypse full sized vehicle some day. But I'm a Motor Head both in Career and personal life. And I want something different that you don't see everyday. Old Resto Muscle Car, 600whp Import or 1,000 WHP Ls Swapped cars are everywhere. I want something different. Great Video man, you have some awesome creative skills.
