Project exelent...
Perfect.
You are every mans dream!! Gorgeous, smart, handy and extremely hard working!! Great job! You should be proud of yourself!😀
I'm pretty impressed, too !
I'm impressed, you are a very hard working lady. God Bless you and your family.
Genuinely appreciate the humor, my dear. Kind regards sending thou way . . .
This young lady is so skilled and talented. And yes, nice looking. Great projects. Keep going.
Years ago, When I first began working as a carpenter, an older carpenter said to me...be careful, the sawdust will make you crazy. He laughed and did not explain. I can see now that you are in the beginning stages of sawdust euphoria. Choose carefully, I managed to arrange my life around the, how should I put it... effect on my affect... and now live with a smile and yes, I must still get sawdust almost any way I can. : ) I am glad you are having fun with it still. I enjoy your adventure into this world I also chose. Smiling, George.
i dont get it?
@@meandnature6452 Hello. I am an old carpenter now. Michy is a young carpenter. I am pleased again and again with the way she figures out carpentry, much like I once did
Some folks look at wood and see heavy dangerous hard work. Carpenters that have a love for it, get joy from the struggles and accomplishment
The old carpenter I spoke of, saw that I would be one of those who found joy in carpentry. He was teasing me by saying sawdust would make me crazy. Crazy to love hard work, crazy about the smell of cutting through a resinous knot, crazy about cleaning up huge piles of sawdust...Michy is at the beginning stages of that kind of crazy enjoyment of the struggle and accomplishment. Im sorry you didn't understand, but I am pretty sure, Michy is in the beginning stages of sawdust euphoria.
@@trimbaker1893 Im just starting my carpenter life, as a 19 year old, and woodworking is one of my favourite things to do
@@meandnature6452 : ) be careful. the sawdust will make you crazy. Smiling. Hmmmm, what wisdom to share... get a good broom. Not a push broom. push brooms do just that, push the dirt around. Get a good "corn broom" we used to call them. The kind of broom with the good stiff bristles and a wooden handle. Get a dust pan too. put your name on the dust pan. Get to work early, clean up. stay late, clean up. I find lost tools, mistakes and nails that need to be pounded further, just by always cleaning up at the end of the day. People do better work when its clean. I think it is a form of respect to clean up. Don't get angry when you have to clean other peoples mess. I used to get angry about that, then I realized I would be angry every day if I tried to change my work space by being angry. As soon as it is clean, I feel better and I can enjoy my work. Don't let anyone teach you to use a different standard when the work you are doing " won't ever be seen" because they would rather be slob carpenters. It all matters. Every time, always. I hope you have a buddy that enjoys the woodworking too. My buddy Mike and I worked together for about fourty years and we did nice work. Mike died. I miss him. I frame a house with the same care that goes in to trimming one out. It makes me smile each time I "meet" a carpenter who truly enjoys the sawdust euphoria I spoke of. Oh, one more thing...never use power tools when you have anything else on your mind. If you have to go to the bathroom or your mate is on your mind, go take care of it and come back when you can work safely. Never use the tool to hold up your body weight. for instance, do not lean on the board you are pushing through the table saw. If you keep one foot planted beneath your face no matter what you are doing, you will not fall onto the tool if things go horribly wrong. Try it. One foot under your face, look down, see your foot now you can move your hands any where around you and you do not fall. A boxer taught me that and it has kept me off the blade a time or two. Never hold the work within the length of the nail when using a nail gun. they curl out often enough and if your hand is never within the length of the nail, it wont get stitched to the work. ( ouch) I know. ok...This is not the Trimbaker show...I wish you a satisfying life with woodworking putting food on the table any where you go. Smiling, George.
Trimbaker, great words of advice right there and great insight from experience, you can't buy experience! I approach life on the same way as you do, bit of a perfectionist but take great pleasure from knowing I do the best job I can, whatever the job is..
Best regards from London England 👍💪😎🏴🙏
You and your skit's just crack me up! Got a little bit revealing on your inner thoughts and action! I liked it all. Happy that your Dad was there to help, something that you will always remember. That's right, you can't beat a tight fit! 👍 👋 🐕 💯👼

Congratulations great shed and great video. Stay safe
Cheers Michelle 😊. Great job. Mark one up on the project completed column👏
Bravo vous avez du talent 😮
Beautiful job on your pole shed all by yourself. Once you trim the angle of your swinging end gate you might want a support cable with turnbuckle to adjust for weight when swinging it open. Be safe, stay healthy, & God Bless everyone. Your very caring with your pets, they enjoy your words of wisdom and attention while being with you. Love the channel, hope you both can live happy healthy lives enjoying what you have worked for together. Living with pain is not good, there are great doctors to repair old injuries.
I’m a carpenter, your making me look bad by COMPLETING a project. Your inspirational to say the least. Good job. Keep this going, lo TD a of folks really enjoy your realism, if that’s a word.
Chuck

I actually have not been around this type of work. didn't grow up with it. became a RN at 25, but always interested in home Reno projects. picked up a chainsaw in 2016/2017, got the sawmill in 2018, and grew from there!
I am totally entertained by whtat you are doing. Your one of a kind. Love it.

Very nice video. So glad I made it out there to help, boy do I wish lol. I wish I could send a picture of the lean to I just finished. Your siding idea will be used. Talking to yourself is exactly how I do it....lol
you have my complete admiration, well done.
Good job Michelle. I would leave the gate wall for now; when the wood dries out it will shrink a bit, maybe just enough for a good fit. Cheers!
Gorgeous
Cheers!

Loving the videos Michelle, it's the little stories and the insights into your life in the Canadian countryside beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
We live just down the lakes from you, I built a chicken coop with cottonwood, and was impressed with the quality of the wood.
Ps: you are an amazing Carpenter!
Really? I thought you were east Kootenay area? Cool, good to know! We have a ton of that wood, and I hate to waste it so keen to keep trying it here and there.
It looks like your place is coming along nicely! You are much more of a professional than me!
An absolutely beautiful piece of work! Totally professional! I’m impressed with both your construction skills as well as your videography skills. And your humor!
Michelle, it's great to see you in your element, sawdust in your hair, dog licking your cheek, sounds of equipment running in the background. I do worry about you up on those ladders. "Done" is a special word. I sounds so sweet. Great job. Thanks for Sharing.
Im impressed how you use the hammer to put in the nails, you really have a good technique.
Wow, beautiful job, that looks so nice 👍
Very nice...its fantastic that you can use the wood on your land for your projects..😀😀😀
Excellent job on that pole barn Michelle 👍
Well done great content. The cliff cabin will be awesome too.
Your motivation is unreal. You dive in and just do it which is the best way to learn. Well done!!!!
Looks Awesome Amazing Great build
Great job Michelle! I had a carpenter point out something the other day. If you take two pieces of wood and do a lap type joint (I tested this out) and drive a couple of nails straight in vs driving them in at an angle the nails driven at an angle are stronger ! Just thought I would pass this along. Keep up the good work and good videos!
Great job, I love the fact that you actually took the time to burn the scrap in your burn barrel. While enjoying your beer. 👍🏼👍🏼
Nice job!
Nice to finish a project congratulations it came out awesome hope for many years of good use from it
Beautiful build. It's rewarding to work & build things with your own hands. Great job.
I've been in the trades for 18 years. This is exactly the kind of work and project scope I'd like to learn more about. I'm stoked to find your channel!
Good job Michy. Truly. George.
1:00 Muscle Mommy Perfection 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
I’ve always said if you just give it a go it’ll all work out, and with this project you have done just that, you should be impressed with yourself it looks fantastic congratulations.👍👍👍🇦🇺
I’m not gonna lie.....IT LOOKS FABULOUS!!!!! You are improving by leaps and bounds, your milling experience really shows, dang, actually doing stuff is absolutely the best teacher. I find too, when I’m learning a new skill, that I dream of doing it and the next day, I’m better, it’s strange but true, somehow your brain analyzes it with your muscles and eyes and you get better! Anyway, there was nothing and now there’s something, you should be very proud of yourself because it’s awesome! Awe, that Scout is so adorable! Thanks so much for your great work, always fun to see you do well, take care!
Thank girl!! I do often dream about stuff, but I’m usually awake! Lol. I lay awake at night thinking about all these things 😉
Nice! My Grandaddy would have said That is a right smart looking structure if he would have been alive.
