It's convenient for women to wear those skimpy dresses when it's 100 degrees at night in Las Vegas, but do they actually expect men to wear a full suit with a buttoned collar long sleeve shirt underneath a jacket when it's 100 degrees outside during the summer nights???
Patrick Lockhart It's pretty hard to find a linen suit in the dark colors that this video suggests. Linen & cotton might make it slightly more comfortable, but it's still having to wear 2 layers in ridiculously hot desert heat. Any guy will sweat like crazy with 2 layers on no matter how much they clog their pores up with foot powder. If I absolutely had to wear a suit jacket, it would only be with a short sleeve V-neck t-shirt, not a long sleeve collared shirt.
I don't think this MGM video is realistic at all. Vegas has become a lot more dressed down. The only men you might see wearing a full suit during the summers in Vegas are celebrities and the elite ultra rich, those who have the luxury of not having to step a single foot anywhere that isn't an air conditioned private environment. The most any ordinary guy in Vegas will ever wear is a buttoned down collared shirt untucked without a jacket. Anything more and they would stick out like a sore thumb by looking like they're trying too hard. I've never seen any guy under 40 wear a full suit at a Vegas nightclub, and I seriously doubt that any 5 star nightclub in Vegas would ever enforce a dress code that would require men to wear full suits since most nightclub patrons are in their 20's. The only thing that matters to Vegas nightclubs is that guys wear a full wallet.
OVI-Wan Kenobi Frankly I would rather be, or at least be perceived to be, one the one of the ultra rich than another random guy in a collared shirt stumbling down The Strip with an overly sugared drink. BTW I am 31, it is not like I am a dinosaur.
PKPhoenix83 Don't you think there are already enough posers in Vegas trying to look rich and important when they obviously are not? And BTW I completely against drinking alcohol openly on public streets, it's one of the douchiest things anyone can do in Vegas.

Poor people? You can buy a suit at a secondhand store and take it to a dry cleaners to get it tailored and cleaned. $50 and you look better than a guy with a $600 designer polo shirt. No discrimination
