Did you mix it with water or gum Arabic? Thanks for sharing I think this is a great idea. I've seen people do this with the sticks from ds, but never even thought about it for these.

Just found your channel because I'm a sucker for year end favorites videos and now I'm off to subscribe and watch more! You mentioned the inktense travel palette doesn't have your favorite colors - may I ask what your favorites are?
Hi, welcome to the channel. My favorite colours from the blocks are: Crimson, Lagoon, Fern, Peacock blue and dark purple, among others. Unfortunately they only come with the full set (72) and to my knowledge not available in pan form. The pan sets are great by the way, very rich, pigmented colours and less grainy than the blocks. Also more portable. But yeah, I wish all 72 colours were available.
Awesome video! I discovered new things like first two art supplies you mentioned. I will try to find it here, in local art store and try them out. BTW I also used the Faber-Castel watercolors you showed when I was starting with watercolors almost years ago. I had a small kit and then bought the bigger one you showed. I enjoyed using them too. Now I am using Schmincke watercolors, both student grade and artist grade are very good and they have a lot of beautiful vibrant colors.

I found a palette on Etsy that holds 72 half pans. I cut small chunks off each of my Inktense blocks in this palette
