34067 Tangmere the Northern Belle- Oxenholme and Greengates- 28/10/23

SR un rebuilt Bulleid pacific 34067 ‘Tangmere’ on the Northen Belle. The train would be Diesel Hauled from Nottingham to Carnforth where the steam loco would take over for the run up Shap to Carlisle and then down the scenic Settle to Carlisle line as far as Preston where the Diesel will take over for the final leg to Nottingham.
I travelled up to Oxenholme Lake District for a shot of the SpamCan having a good run before it’s long climb up to Shap Summit. This was filmed on private property but I was given permission by the land owner to go in the field.
The final shot was at Greengates just south of Kirkby Stephen station. The wind picked up abit here and blew the smoke down the side of the train but I still think it looked and sounded good.

I caught the midland Pullman hst tour on the same day going to Carlisle and this is the 8th time that midland Pullman ever came this way
