Masterful analysis. I love drawing so this could be useful.
You've convinced me to buy this on blu-ray.
This is remarkable! I love seeing videos like this, that point out things the average person would never notice, but still played an impact on their viewing of the film. People have no idea how important it is and how much work goes behind it. Keep it up!!

You make a good teacher...

Another great video Tommy! One can clearly see the amount of effort you did 👏🏼 Loved the background music
thank you so much sofia!:)
Visual storytelling of MNT is what made me love this movie when I was a kid. I watched it without any subtitle back then but the visuals help me understand the characters.
Wow, the little details and sound design make this so much more than a normal video essay. Such a great video!

Find your channel because of f1 as my biggest interest but other videos like this shows how passionate you are into filming industry
Please make more video like this which informative and interesting beside f1 related vid😆

bro I hope what ever is keeping you from producing more videos like this is giving you an opportunity to use your skills in the same amazing way...
Very good
This channel is so underrated
Amazing video!
Lol. I have a 6" stuffed Totoro from when I used to work in a video store. He's carrying a little bag over his shoulder.
Loved the analysis! I really want to know how you were able to make the capture of a travelling at 4:30. I wish so hard to be able to retrieve the beatiful, large landscape that were painted in the movie, but do not know how to do so.. Thanks for posting!
Excellent commentary and analysis. I hope you are a cinema student and/or new filmographers. We need fresh, alive and vibrant voices like yours to keep the art of film making alive.
thank you!
Wait, Tommy, I thought you already dropped out of film school.
hahahahahaaahaha
Can you do an analysis on shinkai films?
Next essay should be an action or sci-fi movie 😭
ooooo might have to do that!
