Dissidia 012: Duodecim - Squall vs. 000 Feral Chaos (Perfect Run)

Squall has an easy time with this fight by virtue of his insane Brv damage output. Solid Barrel is already one of the strongest attacks in the game, and when EX mode doubles its damage, you can expect to do over 5k Brv damage to Feral Chaos (assuming good gear). Feral Chaos is also worse than you'd imagine at dodging Squall's HP attacks (particularly Blasting Zone and Revolver Drive).
I went with Gabranth as my assist this time because I haven't used him in any video yet. Sure, Jecht is probably better at doing the same job, but I just wanted to use him as my assist at least once. Gabranth is cool like that.
No Bravery Regen because that tends to mess up my chances at getting free Assist Charges off of interrupting Brv attacks after my own HP attack. - Hry

Tried doing this myself. Managed to finish him while staying in Ex Mode but failed to dodge all of his brave attacks. Also got so into the habit of cancelling finisher that my end was prolonged and not flashy =(.
Props to you for perfecting though, that was more challenging that I thought it'd be.
This dissidia is better than nt
NT has its moments where it really shines, but it's way too much of a cluster fuck with 6 fighters as default.
@@Ninetails2000Imaging a 3v3 system that has the same controls as duodecim I would think it would be a lot more chaotic but arguably you'd have more of a chance to either fight as a team or just 1v3 than compared to NT

To get Iai Strike to hit every time at the start of a combo, you need boosters to build your boost to 99.9x.
You need (or what I have rather):
To be level 1
Large Gap in HP (10000 or more on enemy HP)
Armorless
Weaponless
Helmetless
Shieldless
Level gap >90
Smiting Soul (for Iai Strike)
Safety Bit (for Last Chance)
Sniper Eye (for 10% Wall Rush HP damage)
Thats the boring way, i’d rather have an intense fight then just straight up spam

What accessories do you use nd what'extra' basic moves do you use. And do you use the same accessories for every character?
What version are you playing on? On my game he's blue and green instead of red, and he has an accessory which after sixty seconds makes him pretty much invulnerable. Any tips?

Can i ask a question? Im up to feral chaos (level 95) and he always beats me. And after a certain amount of time im not able to do ANY type of dmg to him. Can i get some pointers?
You need the equipment excalibur 2 or excalibur

or, if you can use him right, Pack in Jecht. I learned the Jecht Block timing pretty well, and just mowed through almost everything. Also packed Firion, with my Infinite HP build, and used him on everything, including Desperado Chaos.

cool we got the same assist. also my squall is last in team and has to finish off fc , his base brv is1056 is it? good? i dont think he has any lvl gap quipped or any gap item.. fc has 41k or so , is it possible for me to beat him without starting out as ex mode or posible at all 4 me to beat him?

My first time fighting feral was not a good one. Ended up coming down to staying at the top of the stage spaming ultima with Kuja. Took about close to an hour I think lol

The first time I'm fighting against feral chaos he wore x99 accessories and I cant deal any brv damage to him. Maybe only 8 damage or something. He also has crazy long ex mode duration. I only defeated him by spamming Yuna's mega flare. Maybe I'm playing the different version?

He used both hands all the time. There are very few moments where he uses one hand to swing his blade.

x2 hit count + EX crit boost gives him x4 his normal damage, its insane...

that's kind of the point in perfect runs since u never let him hit u and by keeping him in break status his summon doesn't work u have to be good at timing dodges and punishing his moves tho but for Para seems to be easy enough he has done that to F.chaos with more than one char in his perfect run playlist

I find squall one of the most powerful EX modes. However, his EX burst just isn't worth the effort.
now do that with the emperor xD nah just kidding i dont know :) wish i had a psp to play this game
