    What happens to an employee who has met the minimum salary requirement in 2023 and has 30 percent ruling, however, the minimum salary requirement goes up in 2024 and his salary does not increase.

    • @TimeandTrial
      @TimeandTrial  Před 7 měsíci

      Usually every year the payroll administration recalculates the eligibility values..if it falls below, then lower salary criterion might apply. Even if it's lower than that level then 30% ruling might even be recalled. (Stopped)

    I’m currently planning to move to NL along with my husband.
    I have received the offer in Dec 2023 and joining is Feb 2024. What would be 30% ruling structure be like for us?
    Shall we expect some benefit of this 30% ruling

    • @TimeandTrial
      @TimeandTrial  Před 7 měsíci

      Yes in your case you will be falling under the new 30% ruling structure

      It's expected to be implemented from 1Jan24. Still subject to passing the resolution on parliament. Nevertheless it will come for sure..

    If I'm currently benefiting from a 30% tax benefit starting from January 2023 and plan to switch jobs in January 2024, under the new regulations where the tax benefit reduces to 20% after 20months, would the remaining 8 months affect my tax benefit when I change jobs? In other words, would the reduced tax rate of 20% be applicable to the remaining 8 months after I switch jobs?"

    • @TimeandTrial
      @TimeandTrial  Před 8 měsíci +1

      If you switch job in Jan 2024, then you would have completed 12 months of 20 months for 30% so still the remaining 8 months will be 30% only after that it changes to 20%.. hope this answers your question if I understood it correctly..

    I started my job in Netherlands in Nov 2023. And applied for 30% ruling in the same month. But it is not approved yet. Will it come under new rule?

    • @TimeandTrial
      @TimeandTrial  Před 8 měsíci +1

      No I don't think so.. it depends on your application submission and the start date of your job.

    Bro, Im here in NL since 2022 so if I continue working in my current company will my 30% ruling is valid till 5 years as 30% itself? And only if I change my company it becomes 30 ,20 and 10%?
    Or by default everyone falls into 30, 20, 10% scheme?

    • @TimeandTrial
      @TimeandTrial  Před 8 měsíci

      Only if you change company after 1Jan24. Also this transitional rule is yet to be confirmed by the govt. So far the report say this

    Hi Bro. I don't understand how change of employment will make your fall under new rule. I have looked in all possible news available none have mentioned about this.
    Can you please confirm if you had this reviewed with a legal services person that change of employment will fall in re applying and will lead to new rule.
    Also is it officialy announced by government? Can you please clarify on this. Thanks

      Update:
      If there is no so called interruption i.e if you have a new job within 3 months of your previous job contract the 30% rulling remains the same as before.

      30% application is tied up to your job contract .. so in this case I think it will still be under the new rule.. however I am not an expert.. just a guess based on my experience and research...

      @@lokeshraj2732bro 30% ruling can only be applied once you have resident permit, without you can’t. In short once you land in Netherlands and have resident permit, company can prepare the documents but can only submit once you are in Netherlands not before

    It’s subjective. But I’m planning to move to NL for better education for kids and work life balance. These rules will change anyway in 60 months (old or new) basically we have to earn more in that 60 months to make the same life as first 60 months.
    Previously lived in other countries without any add on benefits so it’s okay from my side.
    But now I’m more worried about PVV and right wing politicians than the rules. 😅
