    Personally I use this feature on a daily basis and even though I have to press multiple times to adjust my volume I still really like the feature, it has really helped boost my independence. I have to use it to turn my TV on because for some reason my google home won't turn my TV on after my TV has been turned off for a long time even though it's a smart TV.

    Nice work buddy. Do you have a CRE company? If so where about do you operate? I’m a Permobil Rep and certainly enjoy watching your videos. 😊

    Not all infrared devices are compatible, I have an IR dimmer switch that the teaching works but transmitting does not
    Would be interesting to see if bluetooth could work with home assistant

    What a clunky system. I mean i guess its better than nothing but unless you can't use the regular remote because of lack of dexterity or other reasons, just use the remote. Having said that, ill put this on my list when i launch my channel on how to make your own.

      EXACTLY! Seems like there’s much better options for adaptive tv controls.. but this does work with head arrays & sip n puff setups..

    Hi Dan, a physical question, what are some different ways of making a transfer to a f3 permobil? From a manual chair? Thanks a lot! Tom

    My son's M3 has 3 memory settings that he / I can adjust; its a permobil 2023 model. Today at a seating clinic I was asked if he has 'start' and 'end' settings for his M3 - they stated a demo chair similar to ours has M3 set for 'start' position (pressure relief setting) and an end position (upright sitting). If M3 is set to position him for pressure relief, he could 'push' the handle to get to that position but would be stuck there as he can not view the screen or reach the toggles to get out of the position. Besides a switch being added, which they also suggested, any ideas how to set a Memory to do a 'push' command and a different 'pull' command as they inquired? I'm wondering if since we Permobile originally remove the factory M3 setting (so we could program 3 options for him) that is why his chair does not have a 'push' as one setting and 'pull' as a second setting option on M3. Any thoughts?

      the direction you move the joystick to activate the memory positions can't be changed.. BUT the little seating buttons can be setup to activate a memory position, if they're easier to reach instead of using the joystick..

    Hey mate, coming to you from Australia. Thanks for the info. Good job.
    Question, I can easily access the settings on my rnet controller on my magic Mobility V6. Although for some reason I cannot get into the programming part of it. Do you know if there a way to get around this?

    • @TotallyNormal-
      @TotallyNormal-  Před 7 měsíci +1

      if you're talking about on board programming, it has to be enabled with a dongle the first time, THEN it can be accessed later (without the dongle) using the power-on keycode combo

    Hi, I'm facing an 'ICS Module Error 0009' on my new Permobil F5 Corpus VS and I'm stuck without mobile connection because in my flat I only got WiFi , nor do I know how to reset the chair or connect it to Wi-Fi. The support team has been contacted but no solution yet. Any advice on troubleshooting this would be immensely helpful. Thanks!

      that chair shipped with the 'power platform' electronics - unfortunately you're going to have to rely on permobil tech to get things sorted out. its a brand new system, and the software isnt even at v1.0 yet. i've been working with them to try and identify/resolve some of these issues.
      but they haven't released any documentation (or more likely it hasn't been written yet) for error codes or troubleshooting.
      permobil tech is the ONLY way to get anything done here. DME's wont have any of the tools, or know-how on these new systems. it will also add a significant amount of time to the whole process waiting on the DME to call permobil, and wait for a response etc etc..
      if you haven't done so already, i'd contact a permobil rep directly and try to bypass the DME if possible. use this link, and your information will be forwarded to a permobil rep in your area.

      good luck! and let me know what happens :^)

      @@TotallyNormal- Hi, first of all, thank you for your friendly and helpful answer! I’m sorry for my late response.
      I have now figured out that the mode which is not available is the infrared mode, which I wanted to try out but failed. So my chair tries to show up this mode when I switch between the already given modes in the menu. I also only found that out because of one of your videos. :)
      Before I knew this, the support wanted to change the whole module and buy a new one. :D
      When I found out the error, I told the support the idea to reset the R-net module via the QuickConfig app. They were surprised about the idea. They think it could be possible. Now I wait until the support gives me an appointment to try this.
      By the way: The annoying thing is that normal users are not allowed to use the QuickConfig app. Every time there is a problem or a thing to change we have to call the support. I don’t know if it’s the same thing in the US?
      Long story short: You helped me very much and it’s also very entertaining to watch your videos. I’m looking forward for new ones. :) best regards and greetings from Hamburg :)

    do you know if you can hook up 2 r-net Bluetooth receivers on a single chair?

    • @TotallyNormal-
      @TotallyNormal-  Před 8 měsíci

      hmm havent tried.. but the modern joysticks have bluetooth built in, and can handle 4-6 devices (half switch mode/half mouse control)
