Good informative video 👍. Makes the Ford Transit and the various Stellantis contraptions on sale in Europe look like a outdated dinosaurs ! More competition is a good thing to make progress
@@InsideChinaAuto Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I'm impressed at the speed in bringing a model to the market. It normally takes legacy car makers years from concept to production for a model to be launched. Chinese car makers seem to be doing development and all testing in six to twelve months. How realistic is this ?
@user-oc4qe6mj6n They're very much capable of doing so in as little as 18 months generally. Greater use of CAD modelling, faster access to supply chains so faster iteration of products, and greater innovation in general.
Great van and if priced correctly, it will sale very well for the camper fans! 👏👏👏
BTW: I love your style when making these videos! 👍👍
Thanks Johnny. Very much appreciated, and I'm sure this van will do very well.
Thanks for posting, yes, you were right - I have been waiting for this video to arrive. When you mentioned that it has V2L, I was delighted, just what is needed in these vans. Well done Farizon. Now I have to wait again to see if they are coming to Ireland (in right-hand drive) and what price they will be. I'm sure they will undercut the Transit, the question is by how much? i also hope the rear bench of seats are easily removeable from the high roof version.
I think everything is removable with a screwdriver or socket set. I know they're at least coming to the Republic but that would be LHD, but given how the steering isn't limited by mechanicals, its likely they'll offer RHD versions at some point so stay tuned.
Hi Mark,
I nearly wasn't going to watch a review on a van because I love cars but actually I really love the review very informative, and certainly these are important to progress the Ev Revolution, looks like an excellent van I really hope it does come in at a competitive price here in Australia.
Keep up the good work, hoping you'll review the Zeekr 007, and xiaomi su7, definitely looking forward to the Beijing motor show , you're are lucky man 😂.
John in Melbourne
Cheers John. Always appreciate you taking the time, to watch and to comment. It should go to Australia, I can't see any reason why not. We're getting closer to reviewing both so they'll be here soon I'm sure.
Do you have plans of filming at the big car expos in China this year again? Loved the both videos from Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Absolutely. Beijing in a few weeks should be pretty special and the biggest show of the year. Thanks for watching! Glad you like them.
Would really love an 8 by 4 sheet on edge test. That’s the key for me along with plus 200 miles real range. Ps never heard of this before now thank you
Should definitely do the 200 miles plus real range. I'd have to get the equipment and the tallest, biggest van for the other one I guess.
I would certainly consider one for my next Camper van build.
You compare it a lot to the transit. You mean the transit Custom I take it?
The big Transit cabine looks way bigger. What speed did you do for that consumption?
My Van does 27kWh/100km at 100/h
The consumption figures are what are claimed on Ford's UK website for the big e-Transit and the same for Farizon's numbers as we didn't have a representative drive to test that fully.
The comparison is to the big Transit because they're about 5.5-6.0 metres long, though Ford does a longer one that's also taller too I believe and the SuperVAN doesn't come with that variant.
@@InsideChinaAuto the volume in a H2 might be oke. I found the cockpit looked smaller though.
Still interesting to see what real world figures will give. 66kWh is nice with 17kWh/100. To less with 30/100 😉
Mate you continually impress on your level of knowledge. Many car journos know jack all about vans. Well done! Do you have many cuts? The delivery of info is seamless!
Haha, thanks for the compliment. I do have cuts, sometimes more, sometimes less, though in the driving I'll often get into a flow and after a few failed attempts will get one complete flow in one go. You say things enough times and eventually the numbers stick. Good preparation is key.
Do you know anything about BYD E RV coming out as comparison?
Not heard anything about an E-RV coming out from BYD, that's news to me, but I'll certainly ask them.
That looks more like the interior of a MG4 with the small screens in alike maybe it’s part of the MG brand group
300 miles is madly disappointing for a long as van, this not even that bare minimum
Are there any out there offering more or even close to this? Didn't think so.
17.1 kWh/km... first see in reality then believe.
It's CLTC so it won't be that for sure, but I said that in the video too.
@@InsideChinaAuto I know but we were so used to NEDC and then take off a bunch, now have to compare again haha
@@gronz Yeah, it's a nightmare. I live it every one of these reviews. Too many different standards.
60 K???? lol....
@robertbidochon7949 No, I said the Maxus e-Deliver 9 starts at £63k. This is the Farizon SuperVAN and there are no European prices yet.
Quite Disappointing, it started as a camper van now it's gutted and empty, two different things mate.
All the wonderful products and innovation not allowed in the US. Delay delay and wait so every last drop of profit is sucked out of our oil reserves by giant gas guzzling Trucks and SUVs.
Sad, eh? The US could do so much good with what it has and the talent on board but squanders it on unnecessary wars and guns.
It's all part of a master plan to keep the population in debt and working. Conflict and fear keeps the population energized, engaged and motivated. We could easily create a carefree, debt free socialist utopia that would not last even 10 years before collapsing or being overtaken.
Hopefully these vans come to Europe. I'm still waiting for a electric camper van to be sold in Europe, still nada.
Exactly. The high roof versions would make a wonderful size.
They are coming to Europe. Some countries confirmed already, no doubt more to come.
@@InsideChinaAuto not more unsold vehicles clogging up our ports 😂.
@@andrewharris3900 Why not? All of Japan and Europe's unsold vehicles are clogging up fields in China. I've even got a video showing it.
Need to build your own currently. I did. Was tired of waiting 😊
