Here’s a quick history lesson on this 120 year old bottle!

While diving underwater, I discovered this W.H. Donovan ginger beer bottle, which dates from 1890 to the early 1910s. William H. Donovan, the manufacturer, operated his soft drink and beverage company on Granville Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Donovan was known for producing high-quality beverages, and his ginger beer became a popular choice among locals during that era. The bottle itself is a testament to the craftsmanship and branding of the time, often featuring embossed designs and distinctive labels. Collectors and historians value these bottles for their historical significance and connection to the local beverage industry of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
