I went to join BD in October 1970. they asked me to play a roll. I got it on the second try. they asked me how old and i just turned 9. They said no and I said no way I am gonna march so I got all the kids who had siblings in the corps with Stephanie Shultz and Mary Meininger as our colorguard captain and we started the Cadet Corps for the 1971 season. Be nice to my babies ok.
