Dang, that looks like a Chopped up 165 Hydro John Deere Hood. I'm building a 165 Hydro right now with a Kohler 23 Horse 6 speed Transaxle and other modifications.
what happened to right as well as left turns? that's why my friends and I race our own tracks.. 2 race at a time and we race the clock so it's...safer.. well put together singles can and often do beat big modded twins because there's only really one straight so power is kind of useless..
To keep a lower COG keeps the race mower planted to the ground better so it will not flip on you in the turns and handles better then being high off the ground.
Oh great another vid where the mowers drive around on a yellow for half of it. And the drivers in a FXT class that's supposed to be the top class can't figure out how to line up. And a puked mower. Good Lord.

why do they lower the mowers is it something you have to do?
