I've been a fan of Sky Striker Ace - Azalea in the spot Knightmare Phoenix is in. It doesn't cost a card in hand to hit backrow, It hits both back row and monsters if we need to hit those, and even can be additional removal afterwards for more monsters due to its battle phase ability. We generally play enough spells to meet the 3 spell in grave requirement to keep it out after an on summon pop. Most of the stuff we play is light so the cost to play it isn't much steeper than Phoenix, but we can still handle the dark cost with things like Linkuribo and Reliquished if need be, both of which help us get around TCBOO to play Azalea if we have a fairy out as well. It being a machine makes it synergistic with Meteonis as possibly material if we don't have enough Drytrons out or in hand, and being big enough on its own for Natasha.
Logan my man, I love your videos and I am patiently waiting for your updates, but after spamming this awesome deck hard for many years taking all your advices into consideration without nesaisarily following them I will say one this straight up coming from my 1000+ matches with this deck at this point. I stoped watching at 1:06 simply because I have long reached the conclusion that you only brick if you don't draw names, so the 12 names are 1000% mandatory and there is almost zero reason to question this fact. It is as clear to me as day, I will not question that again until another name is released. Until then, I daresay a list without 3 Alphas 3 Zetas 3 Gammas and 3 Deltas is just wrong. If you have solid counter arguments to my opinion please 🙏 I want you to reply to me explaining how I am wrong, although I am adamant that 12 names is the way, no questions asked!
I still play Ultimateness. All you do is when you have thuban tribute benten, search ultimateness early and you can get at lease 2 negates plus chaos max lock. I do play two meteonis. Also searching ultimateness off of thuban allows me to plop it down before the 5 summons. Super fun deck list you got. Maybe i'll try perfection Also I play pot of Prosperity and a 40 card list. The card is busted for drytron but i see how you needed room for thrust options.
Very solid decklist but i would play daruma cannon or feather storm instead of imperm. I would also recommend herald of the abyss as a searchable thrust target against purrely.
I've cut the phoenix for dyna before...ended up going back to 1 dyna. Sometimes that pop without ritual summoning is important. I would definitely play a second dyna before ever picking unicorn back up though
I would cut the thrust and talents into the side removing super ancient organism. Then you have room for pot of prosperity with the logic in mind that you are looking to play first. This also gives you more extension past droll
Thoughts on the Ishizu cards to pair along with 3 orange light? Shufflers seem pretty solid into the format, + mill 5 will always feel strong with names and rituals happily sitting in grave? Can also send with Diviner if you’ve got access to combo already 🤷🏻♂️ They don’t seem terrible, just think space would be the concern.

In the main id prefer 2 talents and one thrust then 2 thrust and one talents since if they hit you with an ash you can literaly just like in there hand or draw the engine rather than the more likely chance of you setting a mediocre imperm and passing I dont think we need the grave of the super ancient organism unless branded with gimmick puppet turns out to be insane. Id rather play 3 cosmic to help play into these disgusting matchups like labrynth Thrust makes it so you can now run ultimate slayer, i think its worth the one slot since we already have all the types in the ED and beneficial ones at that I can hardly bring myself to go over 40/max 41 I dont know if you can run droplets mean you should run droplets I like the list but further testing needs to be done
I'm not sure about called by in the format any more, the most used hand traps this format are side deck bystials, ash, nib and imperm. Only ash gets hit by called by

Looking forward to you making the combo video. Do you not think the Harpie's Feather Storm is still worth it? Also, what are your thoughts on Vanity's Ruler? When in the meta would you run it? Because it seems that it's a lot simpler to use, but maybe it's a lot simpler for your opponent to out?

I have a few things to say about the list. Love your videos logan and your dedication to drytron. Anyway back to my comments 1. I tried testing with droplets but it just felt a little neggy. I would rather cut it out and add 2 imperm and 1 thrust 2.. the ratios are okay but i found myself bricking a good amount of the time. so I decided to cut foolish and another 2 cards to play jack in the hand. so ideally you play it first and then if you have another name you need you will be able to search the one you don't have or you want. it also pairs well with thrust as its a normal trap and you can add the names to hand instead of sending them to grave 3. I feel like you need to side an extra ritual spell because DD crow might be coming back into the format
A bit random question, but is the 3 herald negates + chaos max that you are talking about 2 card combo? Specifically alpha + zeta rather than nova + zeta or 3 card combo including benten?
You can't summon Ultimateness with Dawn of the Herald, which you are using to add back a fairy to your hand. You don't want to run Ultimateness without Eva

2 card combo is guaranteed 1 perfection negate + chaos max lock (check combos V2 on my channel), that's Alpha Zeta and three blanks
