I remember at age 10, Boozin came to Amakom, close to Baba Yara sports stadium and we were playing football on the streets, I realized most of the elderly were running to find shelter in their homes but I and my friends didn't know who he was, he joined us to play football for like 10 minutes and he left, afterwards the elderly guys told us we just played football with Boozin. He was a giant and fair in complexion. He was friendly and we liked him. Kudos to Oheneba media

Kudos Bro. How I miss those moments. I grew up at Oforikrom and I had the opportunity to witness some actions of Boozing during my Kid days. At the night of the fight, Boozing gathered plenty crowd all being his fans infront of Dunga La Porte a popular joint at Oforikrom and promised he is going to trace Budo at where ever he is that night, and deal with him. I had the opportunity to follow him on his way to fight Budo. I joined them from Anloga junction to the railway crossing which was closser to Aboabo and returned back home. I can really say Boozing went for war and he survived. He came back to the scene after some months and i used to see him at our house whenever he visits Kushayshay at uncle Ben's Gym at the driving school. May their Soul rest in peace.

I have been following these interviews and according Spirito (the right hand man of Budo) and this Mugabi(right hand man of Zoozing), I can objectively make the following conclusions.
    1. both Budo & Boozing were spiritually fortified
2.they both were ruling in their territories
3.they both needed/wanted to settle the score to who was really the overall champion in Kumasi and it's environs
4.Budo's camp(his boys) were extremely loyal to him and were more closer to him(Budo) than boozing
5.Boozing was physically stronger than Budo and Boozing would have beaten Budo hands down if they fight had been limited to only the two of them. This was confirmed by Spirito(Budo's man), that, they saw their master (Budo) was loosing the fight, so they(Budo's boys) quickly jumped in with weapons. that was when Spirito said, if he cuts you and it doesn't cut, he knows what to do with the machete or cutlass and his 2nd cut will always go deep on your skin.
6.Boozing was really the champion but not Budo
7.Budo had great managerial skills and a better team leader, had some links with Manhyia,
that made him popular in Kumasi than Boozing.
    I rest my case.
    👍

    • @okyerekwame8931
      @okyerekwame8931 Před 11 měsíci +16

I disagree that Boozin was stronger than Budo.
Spirito said the fight was a very tensed one, very tough fight and bcoz they realized Boozin had some powers on his that resisted punches, they have to try him with other means... Bcoz there was no solution to him . That is street fight. Other means are part of street fight.
That's why we say fighting is not a good thing

We shall need one more interview to Abt Boozin.
In my view, Boozin was also a strong guy but was backed by some powers. Budu per other insights was naturally strong.
I think if Boozin was too stronger than Budo, he cld have defeated Budu within few minutes but he wasn't able to do that bcoz Budo was strong. That shows that Budo was indeed a strong man and his strength can't be write off.
In the end, Boozin paid for it with terrible wounds.

Mike Tyson was short but was beating taller people in his prime.
Budo may be strong but was overrated.
All these people couldn't go into any fighting sports to show their strength against other peers but were using their strength on the lower weights or weaker ones in their locality.

Since his strength was not natural, it would have been difficult to defeat him. I have witnessed him beating someone called America who is still in Anloga for no reason.

A couple of inconsistencies with the interviewee's narrative. He earlier mentioned Boozin had no link with Kwaamo but later said he had to visit a frail Boozin at Kwaamo.. and then wasn't present at the Budo-Boozin fight but could give details of what ever ensued. He objects to Budo's fighting with gang but then fails to to also acknowledge Boozin also sought advantage in the fight by going with his gang. If Boozin went with gang why should Budo fight alone? From all indications , Boozin wasn't strong by himself....he was infused with the help of fetish power... Clearly when left to their natural strength, Budo will overpower him.

If you going to fight and you take people along and you are beaten then that is it.. nobody goes to anyone's home to beat the person there and goes Scot free.. person who can beat 1000 people as he said should have been able to beat budo and his crew even if his boys didn't help him or he should have gone for rematch with proper strategy well planned but since he didn't then it simple he lost that fight

Boozen wasn’t an armed robber. He was bathed with traditional medicine when he was a child. And that made him physically strong.
