کیا یہ بہتر نہیں کہ جو بات رسول ﷺ نیں نہیں کی نہ سکھائی، اس میں ہم غوطہ زن نہ ہوں؟ شریعت کی پابندی اور حفاظت معرفت کی کنجی ہے۔کیا ایسا نہیں ہے کہ اگر آپ کسی کی باتیں سنیں تو اس کی پہچان آتی ہے؟ نہ کہ پہیلوں میں کھو کر اپنا ایمان برباد کر دیں؟ تو حاصل یہ ہے کہ صرف اور صرف قرآن سمجھ کر تدبر کے ساتھ پڑھ کر ہی سچی معرفت نصیب ہو سکتی ہے۔
وَالشُّعَرَآءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الۡغَاوٗنَؕ
(Quran 26:224)
As for poets, only the wayward follow them.
اَلَمۡ تَرَ اَنَّهُمۡ فِىۡ كُلِّ وَادٍ يَّهِيۡمُوۡنَۙ
(Quran 26:225)
Do you not see that they wander about in every valley [of rhetoric],
وَاَنَّهُمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ مَا لَا يَفۡعَلُوۡنَۙ
(Quran 26:226)
and say things which they do not do.

مجھے کافر لگے کہنے مسلمانوں کی بستی میں
نظر آتی نھیں کچھ اپنی ہستی اپنی ہستی میں
کچھ ایسا کھو گیا ہون دل کھ ہاتھوں بٔت پرستی میں
جدھر جاتا ھوں میرے سامنے بٔت خانا آتا ھے
ھر اک غواص کو باقر درِعرفاں نھیں ملتا
نھیں اس راہ میں مقسودِ دل آساں نھیں ملتا
کبھی گلشن میں کانٹا بے گلِ خنداں نھیں ملتا
نا گزرِے کفر سے جب تک کبھی اِیماں نھیں ملتا
کے پہلے تو حرم کی رآہ میں بٔت خانہ آتا ہے
نا حاصل ھے سکوں صہرا میں، اور نہ دل کو بستی میں
بٔلندی پر گزر ھوتا نہ میرا ھوتا پستی میں
خبر تک بھی نہیں کیوں مہو ہوں الفت پرستی میں
حجابِ غیب کہ پردے اٹھے کچھ کیف و مستی میں
نہ جانے کس کی ہستی دیکھتا ھوں اپنی ہستی میں
میں ہوں وہ رند میری زندگی میخانے میں گزری
مری عزّت کیا کرتے تھے صوفی زآحد و متقی
مری تربت پہ آکہ خد یہ ساکی نے دعا مانگی
خدا بخشے بحت اچھی گزاری مہ پرستی میں
تھے پنہہ آتشِ فرقت کے سینے مہ بہت شعلے
نظر تھی چارسو میری فرشتے لے کے جب پہنچے
تراشِ بٔت مجھی کو دیکھ کہ جنت میں یوں بولے

These are the very few memories of the past which we have. We have been fighting over meaningless issues concerning who holds the claim over this land we today know of as India , Pakistan , Afghanistan , Bangladesh. In essence this is what reflects what unity would have meant in those bygone times . If there is anything that would make me smile and take pride in our people is the fact that there was a time when people sang about masjid, mandir, Madira , maikhana together in their ibadat. Our relation with almighty is very personal . Thank you dream journey for making me return to you again and again because your collection does make a difference.

Some of the kalaams are recorded in the memories of qawwals. They recite the name of the poet, when you listen them in live programs. some poets records are not found in anywhere else in the world, except the memories of qawwals. It's,of course,a great tribute to these unknown poets by these qawwals. It also proves that a lot of treasure of Urdu,is still to be explored. As far as, my knowledge is concerned, 1857 mutiny and partition of India in 1947 are the main reason behind it. In 1857, Britishers mostly target cultural treasures of India,that is when,a lot of poets of Urdu and Hindi, artisans were on run,leaving behind their valuable intellectual. Same happened during partition. People left and destroyed many things,in riots and migration.

Came across this gem accidentally while listening to NFAK but what a gem it is. I am a fan of Moulvi Sahib but I never came across this qwaali before. Brilliant poetry presented fabulously by Moulvi Sahib. By the way I am on my holiday in Dubai from England and it is almost 1:30 am and I can't manage to stop from listening this qalaam by Moulvi Sahib. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Remembering Molvi Haider Hassan tonight, the BEST and the most passionate qawwal of our time, When I saw one of his video I could see the pain he was going through yet he continued. He was like a bright Shama (candle) which burns and provides light all the way till it is not there anymore. Molvi Sahab left last week (a gentleman informed me today), he is pain free now but we will feel the pain of his departure until we meet again. RIP Molvi Sahab.
What was the cause of his death, what type of illness did he have ?

This Butiful Qawwali by Maulvi Saahab is a great discourse on the unity of all religions. Maulvi Saahab is a true devotee of the Lord. I salute him from the heart of my hearts. He brings out so clearly that the True Lord sees only our True Feelings... That He doesn't go by rules n regulations, coz for a True Bhakt, there simply are no rules n regulations. He makes d rules of his own heart, which is full of Love for one n all ❤️❤️❤️
