How is this guy's voice still so clear and accurate? Unbelievable.
This was on of my husbands favorite songs. And yes, he absolutely loved fall. He passed away two years ago. Last November I arranged a memorial mass for him. At at the end of the mass the brilliant cantor and pianist sang/played this song. Everyone cried, especially me. Now, this song holds a blessed place in my heart. Thank you for lending your voice to this beautiful, blessed song. I cannot thank you enough. It means the world to me.

My aweome and much-loved sister has just passed away at 71. She once told me the Moody Blues were her favourite group.
She looked after me all her life.

My wife of 41 years passed on 10/12. As she was in hospice this song came on while I was listening to Justin Songs. I’ve heard it thousands of times. Took on a whole new meaning.

This was my mother's favorite song. That single was played so often in my childhood. After my mom passed away in 2013, it was a while before I could even listen to it. But I LOVE this song!! Brings back some precious memories.

Wow, he still belts this out with all the mystery and melancholy as when I first heard it as a 15-year-old in 1978. I remember being captivated by the magical sadness of this piece. I would run it through my head as I ran cross country races through the golden gown of autumn.
The song always reminds me of dogs who have crossed the rainbow bridge - running in the autumn leaves with such joy - only with us for a short season - but so full of love.
I always remember kicking autumn leaves myself and this song would be in my head... This song could have been written by the man himself... So beautiful ❣️ 😊 😉

Couldn't have been more perfect.
Had just started a trip back to college. As I poked around on the car radio, an all album station had this playing. What?! A Moody Blues song I didn’t know about!!?? Found out it was one of Justin’s contributions to Jeff’s War of the Worlds album. Took a while to find a shop that carried it. Most had never heard of it. ????? Pre internet. 🤷♂️

I recall hearing this incredibly beautiful song on the radio as a teenager when I was vacationing down in Puerto Rico back in the late ‘70s. I wasn’t exactly fluent in Spanish but knew a wonderful piece of music when I heard it. Since then I have found and listen to the “War Of The Worlds” soundtrack in SACD 5.1 Surround Sound format which makes this song even more amazing. Well done, Justin...truly one of the somewhat unknown classics that I still love 40+ years later, especially at this time of year.
Justin’s voice ages like very fine wine. I’d waited half a century to be able to see him at concert in Capital Theater Clearwater FL Oct.15th 2021. I am 66 but my heart flutters for him like a teenager.

I remember one of my friends giving me a cassette copy of War of the Worlds... I said WTF is this? He said... just listen to it. And listen I did! Growing up in Ohio, the fall was very special to me. The colors, the smells, the promise of first winter snow in the air when the clouds hung low, and a chill hit your skin in that familiar way.

Wow - the man will be 80 in just six years - and STILL he has that magnificent voice! And this four-piece band perfectly captures the beauty of the original. The Moodies were a band that my appreciation for their stunning albums has grown ever greater over time!
Forever Autumn and eve of the war were two of the most amazing tracks of the late 70s. A amazing time to be Alive. A different but most beautiful era of music and mindset of people.. Money wasn't the most important thing in people's lifes.

I first heard this on the radio in 1979 or 1980, while I was in college at NYU. I quickly ran over to one of the local record stores and bought the War of the Worlds vinyl, and have played it to death ever since. Thanks for a gorgeous performance of one of my all-time favorite songs!

Dear Justin... You are a part of my youth... I grow up with this song.. A very poor guy with no money to buy vinyl.. But I got the WOTW Album. Listened 1000 times and also made my son in his early years to love this album. Bothe of us are now successful people. Still know where it comes from.
This was released the year my daughter was born, first saw the Moody Blues at Leeds unit in 1970. There again in 1973. Saw Justin perform Forever Autumn during the War of the Worlds at Leeds Arena last night, (3rd April) as part of my daughters 44th birthday celebrations. We had a fabulous evening. Thank you - we loved it!

Saw The Moody Blues live at Radio City Music Hall in 2005. What a concert. The Moody Blues are my favorite band next to The Beatles. Long Live The Moodies.

Saw him yesterday live 12th sept 2022 in Birmingham. The performance of this song got the biggest cheer and clap of the night
I think of my cousin who had 4th stage lung cancer in the hospital. He turned 64 in the hospital October 18th. The day after, his youngest sister took him off of life support. My mom and I saw Justin in concert a few weeks after. All I could do was cry.

One of my top songs of all times from any artist! The words flow making a picturesque scene. I loved it back in 1981 when I first heard it and it sounds great 40 years later. Never get tired of the song, music, lyrics and Justin!

Back in the late 70's and into the 80's I remember chasing this song and trying to find it on an album. I finally found a copy of The War Of The Worlds with the narration by Richard Burton which was fantastic but I wanted just the song.
Finally found it on a Best Of The Moody Blues CD in the 90's, and still love it to this day. It just sparks so many emotions and feelings. It's a beautiful piece of work, and stands the test of time.
Each time I hear it, it just reminds me of the first time I heard it.
