Your headshots are a thing of beauty. On a side note, I can only imagine how many times you've completed your Solo Mastery. Last I played (earlier in 2024) I left it having completed it 134 times, but have only done a few plat solos. None with this particular character but as you've shown here, in the right hands he more than gets the job done. Well done.

Been watching your videos for quite some time ever since I got back into Mass Effect 3 multiplayer. Been practicing and spending my credits in getting my weapons leveled up. I feel my aim has definitely improved a lot! However, I feel I'm still lacking on game sense and positioning sometimes. My greatest weakness is getting cross map snipped by Geth Primes, Ravagers, Marauders, Collector Captains, etc. I don't always feel like I'm out in the open, and yet they're my biggest weakness. I want to eventually get up into the Platinum games once my weapons max out. Do you have any advice for a Gold and Silver player to improve at the game to try and reach your level here? Any advice would be great ^^
I've always advised that in addition to playing matches with other players (and taking note of what the better players do) you should also do a lot of soloing. You learn a lot about enemy behaviour, and you can try different tactical strategies on each of the maps without having a bunch of maniacs running around killing everything for you. It also prepares you for those times when the rest of your team is down and you have to finish a wave by yourself, which happens from time to time. Get to know your soft cover "waypoints" on each map, and learn how to kite enemies around each map. Viktor's useage of soft cover in this vid, for example, is a textbook demonstration of how to avoid shots from those annoying distant enemies as you route them were you want them to go. Getting better at headshots is also a very worthwhile thing. Once you can solo Gold fairly comfortably with any character I'd say you're ready to try Platinum. Expect to have many failures on plat and don't get discouraged and you'll eventually get it done. And that first Plat solo extraction you get will be memorable, I guarantee it.
My advice is to learn all enemy behaviours as @Arasteele already mentioned,plus when to fight and when to run. For example, don't use powers versus the praetorians while they are flying, because they will use their bubble defence and the powers won't do a thing,plus it will make them harder for killing. Force them to land,then you can use powers. If you have questions for a specific enemy,ask me. Team games differ very much from soloing. When you are soloing,you shouldn't stay at one place for too long,but shouldn't kite too much either,unless you can hold them ofc. If you want to get better at soloing,start with your most comfortable map and the difficult which you are most comfortable with. The same goes for character/weapon combo. If you want to cross/kite more safety,just try to lure as many enemies as you can to your position,but watch your back,then start running. Gotta learn the most safe places on every map and so on. The rest is practice. Just don't surrender. Ofc if it brings you enjoyment, because not everybody likes to solo. The games are for fun after all. :)
@@viktorkrumov2859 I mostly do teams, but I want to learn how to solo as I feel it will help me get better in team based content as well. I believe I understand all the enemies particulars. The worst is just me getting sniped by Scions and Ravagers from a distance. I'be learned the timings for Sync kills and how to avoid them if they don't sneak up on me. I learned that you can shoot off the plates on Atlus at the joints to stagger them. What I usually lack is damage or cooldown speed despite me following builds other content creators do. I think what I'm mostly lacking is practice for positioning, kiting, when to fight and run, and of course weapon levels and equipment. Skill is the first major obstacle. I learned quickly not to risk my neck to run and revive someone when they go down in a horrible spot because I end up going down with them more often than not. I'm currently watching your solos and learning how you position, how you play your characters, etc. Posting your builds for example in the description always helps! @@Arasteele Thanks! I'm currently comfortable running Golds with a team. We clear easily and I don't even have lvl X weapons yet! I'm probably holding the team down the most with that lack of weapons levels haha. So I think I'll try solos soon and focus on learning and practicing so I can build myself up to Plat. It'll also allow me to build up resources and weapon levels which I need the most. Being stuck with 8 Medi-Gels or lower at all times isn't fun lol. And yup, I've learned about right side initiative and soft cover. The reload canceling (by using the Medi-Gel button) doesn't seem to work on the PS3, so I've done canceling by using powers, entering cover, or running. I haven't been able to get the transport glitch working on PS3, but I have heard it works. I'll keep working on things and getting better! Thanks again for the encouragement!
IDK what it is about certain classes, I just can't replicate anything close to the same results. I hear and can witness people in my lobby make the Sentinel look amazing. Then when I get him I feel like I do half the damage. Just one of those characters I'm not good with and can't seem to thrive in it's play style.
There is no reason for not getting the same results,at least with the powers. For the weapons, everything depends on their level. If you have everything maxed out,you should get the same results. :)
@viktorkrumov2859 Oh, it's nothing wrong with the build or the classes. It's 100% me. I play the Paladin, and it feels overhyped, but then I watch other people use it, and they make it sing. It's definitely a skill issue.
It happened for the first time,but i guess it's a new thing and i took a long break from the game. It's annoying indeed. Especially for aiming.It's kinda less noticeable on the video tho.
