    I have so much respect for Benedict for speaking out so openly despite of how negative the media always reacts to something like that. Saying that he has to use the attention that he gets to the people who really need it, thats just really amazing!
    We all need to speak out for those who have had their voice taken and it's great to have people set an example for that.

    Stop destroying every single thing we have in this world, please.There is this man who is one of the most down to earth actors in Hollywood. He was never arrogant or rude to anyone, but you still HAVE to take something from him and make him seem like a monster. Calling him a hypocrite, asshole etc. He is actually doing something for the world, while you are just sitting on a chair complaining about other people. Grow up.

      I'm a Christian living in a country where half of the population are Muslims, we live in a fucking peaceful world. This fucking ISIS is just a business created by the US. Their religion is not the reason they bomb people. If it was then they wouldn't bomb other Muslims. The Western media are just fucking ridiculous. They want to blame everything on Islam. Their religion is just as sacred for them as Christianity is for us.
      Pray for the next war not to happen or you will just eat your words once you become as helpless and homeless as those refugees.

    • @Banzay27
      @Banzay27 Před 7 lety +1

      That's insulting to fascism. That's how bad it is. There are several terms that are much more correct to use here and is what folk always mean when naming fascism negatively: dictatorial, authoritarian, totalitarian, tyrannical. Any and all of these fit the bill. Islam has been what it is since it was conceived millennia ago, a hell of a long time before fascism was conceived.

    • @CrankCase08
      @CrankCase08 Před 7 lety

      +Banzay27 It's a single, easily understood term for oppressive and authoritarian. This doesn't necessarily conform to classical fascism, but it's the revised easily-understood meaning that's being applied to it for the post -WW2 era.

    • @rambostall3231
      @rambostall3231 Před 7 lety +3

      Michael Marshall The UK is amongst the primary perpetuators of the civil war in Syria. The UK is one of the wealthiest countries in the world. There are a thousand issues in UK that have to be resolved, but that doesn't take away the importance of solving the humanitarian crisis. The homelessness issue can still be solved on top of the refugee crisis. Detracting away from real world humanitarian issues that wealthy countries like UK have responsibility in by bringing up current issues in UK is irresponsible and cruel. No, we are not taking ISIS members into UK and they're gonna blow up everything. The asylum application process is a thorough and extensive background check process that rejects many applications. If Angela Merkel didn't open the gates so irresponsibly and instead created a formal process with other leaders to accept refugees, then much children and women would have come through. That's not to say that there is no women and children currently but just for less due to the dangerous journey to be taken.

    • @rambostall3231
      @rambostall3231 Před 7 lety +3

      Michael Marshall I know what you mean, but the foreign policy led to this war. The west wanted to play the liberator of the Syrian people by arming them. Now look at the results. It is partially responsible in taking care of the people. We aren't kids to instigate a conflict and run away when it comes back to bite us. We have to face our responsibilities and the consequences of our actions. I'm not saying the west should be punished for it but at least take care of the Syrians when they have NO ONE to help them after the war was instigated by the West! If the West tackled the Assad military human right crimes differently and more diplomatic, perhaps they may not have cooperated but at least there wouldn't be hundreds of thousands dead and many terrorists created. Just take the people and make them work and once Syria is fixed, those who choose can go back if they have anything or anyone left there (hopefully)

    • @StopMoColorado
      @StopMoColorado Před 7 lety +1

      +Rambo Stall "Our" responsibilities? Are you CIA, MI-6, or Mossad? Rothschild, Rockefeller, Soros? Neither the average UK nor US citizen has anything to do with "wanting to liberate Syrians...by arming them", and neither was that ever the true motive driving the involvement of Trans-Atlantic forces in the creation, training, financing, and support of Daesh , who have been well exposed as proxies for Western interests, whose real purpose is to foil Putin and Russian interests in Syria, not to "liberate" Syrians (yes, I know several Syrians both in-country and immigrants all of whom are in contact, of course, with many more Syrians affected directly by FSA and other NATO-proxy "Islamist" butchers destroying Syria). Take a look at these "refugees", most of whom, according to many sources, including my Syrian friends, come from areas of Syria not under direct pressure from Daesh (Antioch, Latakia, etc.) rather than from conflict areas like Homs, Mosul, Aleppo, and so on. They have good jobs, cars, money (the average American can't even come up with $600 for an emergency, the fee for these "migrant ferries" usually exceeds $2,000/head, up to $4k, even), family, etc., they have come to Europe by choice, overwhelmingly, not by force or threat of grave harm. They are overwhelmingly Male and of military age (this shouldn't have to be pointed out, it's fairly obvious to any half-intelligent observer, but that does, unfortunately, exclude an increasing number of individuals). An "advanced force", as is common in Islamic cultures.
      There are clear indications, including hacked emails, anecdotal evidence, statements by politicians and "influencers", slip ups, and will established cultural/religious M.O.'s, that this is not, by and large, a genuine Political Refugee phenomenon (I won't even begin to crack the "economic refugee" concept, which creates no moral imperative on a Host Nation, for starters, nor allies to most of the Syrians flooding into European territories), but is, instead, a form of Invasion, plain and simple. No, not only is this not something that can be blamed on French, British, German, Greek, Italian, or Eastern European voters, nor even primarily caused by Daesh's sordid war-by-proxy maneuvers, but appears to be rooted in the desire of certain "Elite" interests to continue to divide (Balkanize) Europe intentionally, making them easier to control (Divide and Conquer), bring cheap, young non-unionized labor pools into labor-expensive markets, and appease certain hyper-wealthy, but morally bankrupt, as well as hostile, Arab parties, especially Saudi Arabia and Qatar, who hooks large shares in certain important European companies and (more importantly) Banks...witness the panic in Germany over Qatar threatening to either pull out of, or attenuate/cease investing in Deutsche Bank. "The hand that gives is above the hand that takes". None of these insanely wealthy Arab nations have lifted a finger to step in and help these "refugees", Nations who actually have strong cultural and ethnic links to the Invading Arab Muslim parties, and PLENTY of both land and economic resources to both settle and integrate them, as well as a genuine moral obligation to do so, having very intentionally funded IS/Daesh trash and related Jihadist thugs for decades. Europe is either going to wake up and kick this Forward Invasion force out of their countries (or, at the VERY least, refuse entry to any more of them), or witness another "Ottoman" Empire spring up, not only at your doorstep, but within your must midst, literally raping their way though your Moms, daughters, Sisters, Aunts and displacing actual Europeans, the people who built the advanced, law-based cultures that have managed to be infinitely more successful than the barbaric and backwards Arab Muslim nations that infest Africa, the Middle and Near East, and increasing areas of Asia and even Eastern European/Caucasian countries (the literal Caucasus, like Azerbaijan, Chechnya, etc.).
      It's a fool who lets cheap, self-destructive Guilt Trips and PC-sounding psychological operations blind them to their own right to preserve their lives, culture, land, and even racial heritage. No, Europeans don't owe Turks, Syrians, Iraqis, Algerians, or anyone else, access to their land, communities, financial resources, etc., over military actions initiated by secret agreements and agendas in which they play no active role, most especially not the Muslim adherents, who are ALWAYS seeking to dominate the world around them, especially the cowardly and the stupid who just lay down and let their people, and land, be marched all over, suicidal morons who let the drawbridge down at the hearing of every sad story. The most persecuted population in Syria has been the Christians, followed by Druze, Alawites, Jews, etc., the very people being left behind in the rush to admit Shariah-imposing invaders into successful European nations. Beyond fishy. Disgustingly self-destructive, too.

    So poor poor Dr. Strange injured his hands and lost ability to do surgery. Boo Hoo! He could still work as a GP and earn more money than 98% of people. He just wouldn't be driving to work in a Ferrari...

    If you really care about the issue, don't just speak about it. Actually take some syrian migrants into your house. You probably have quite a big one.
    You might actually understand why people are skeptical about this sort of thing when you soon realise how incredibly hard it is to assimilate poor people from a very backward culture into the west. It tends to take a hell of a long time and sometimes doesn't work until the next generation is born.
    I'm sure you'll enjoy the company though.
