It’s easier to look at this from a “chance to not proc” perspective:
Each hit has a 80% chance to not proc. The math would then be: (0.8)^4 since it’s 4 hits. This would be a 40.96% chance to NOT proc. Aka 59.04% chance to proc

If each roll has an individual 20% chance of setting off the spec, why would you calc it this way? That would only apply if each unsuccessful hit was removing potential. 80% is correct.

@@MPD90the chance to not activate the relic is is about 41% (0.8^4) which means the chance of having at least 1 claws hit activate the relic is indeed 59%.
@@MPD90 It is 4 individual rolls of 20% and the chance of hitting the 1/4 is 59%. Relatively basic probability calculation. Think of it as hitting a drop that is 1/5 (20%) in 4 attempts, put it in a chance (drop) calculator and check it out for yourself.

The majority of people who want to see you dmm pk’ing already are subbed as you are killing it. I’d honestly not worry about asking for people to subscribe. Look at boaty, I know the guys a og but that guy never asks for subs (I know he already has loads). For sure one in a blue moon but it’s not needed when you are farming out content like dmm. Keep it with all the kills. If anything look at torvests suttle subscribe pop up. Maybe just do the same but instead put is as a “loot key” and then quickly move on without saying anything. Apart from that like I have said you are killing it. Loads of great content being shown by lots of class pkers
Lastly I was going to say but forgot on the last video. I love the fact you are that minted on the main game from pk’ing that you can just buy back all your dmm loot and carry on going. Legit playing the game without worrying about losing your bank which definitely helps with confidence on the sticks.

@Rhys this is much more effective when paired with Sigil of Finality, look up how the D claws damage is calculated (claws do 4 accuracy rolls, the first one NEEDS to be successful for you to hit a max claw spec, and also if the first roll hits then you're guaranteed to get 4 successful hit splats so more chances to proc feral fighter - 0s dont proc feral!)
Getting the probability of proccing the spec wrong is the best thing you could’ve done for video engagement 😂

Insane find but defs closer to 50-60% chance than 80% chance. So if this DMM ended in 1v1s you couldn't win but just constant claw specs every round. Eventually it would fail.

It's not "a x 20%", it's "1 - (0.8ª)", with "a" being the number of hits. In this case, 4 hits, which gives a final odd of 59%, instead of 80%.
5 hits do not add to 100%. In theory, you could continuously miss the 20% proc in 5 (or any number of) consecutive hits, like you could proc it several times in a row.
In other words, each hit shaves off a fraction of the distance to 100%, but never the whole way.

No. The chance is 20% for each individual claw hit.
1 - (0,8^5) = 0,67232
So 5 claw hit spec chance to proc would be bit over 67%
