I love how much you talk! You are at least teaching us about hair and I adore your accent. The people who don't enjoy it, could just skip ahead on the video if they don't like learning and just like watching the hair dying part. Also, if you are planning on going lighter I think you would look beautiful in a lilac/lavender like color even though you are not fond of purples. Periwinkle could be really pretty too!

A fun experiment to try out, perhaps on a wig could be dyeing over braids, i'm super curious to see if it would leave a cool, wearable pattern between the places where the dye touches and where the dye doesn't penetrate
That end result looks amazing! Porosity, oh, how I am familiar. I use a permanent tanzanite, which falls out of my hair at the ends in no time flat, but stays fairly solidly put nearer to my scalp.

First of all I love how the color turned out and second of all I think it makes sense that semi permanent sticks to high porous hair cause semi permanent hair dye is very conditioning.

If anyone wants to color correct the same blue her ends are, you can do it using permanent red dye and it won't fade to blue, cause the permanent dye will deposit pigment inside of the hair, instead of just sticking at the surface .
I hate to burst your bubble but permanent color molecules still fall out of the hair, and red, being the larger dye molecules, fall out of the hair fastest. Permanent=permanently alters your natural hair, it doesn't mean that it lasts permanently or even any longer than semi permanent does. Often times it lasts much less longer. (I've been a color correction expert for 20 years)
@@tasahk if u read my comment again, you'll see that i never said it won't fade, but i said it won't fade to blue. I know what i am talking about and yeah no need for bursting my bubble.
@@brankica7171you'd still have to remove or chemically alter the blue pigments for it not to fade back to blue. In very rare occasions a permanent color can do the latter but blue pigments stain very badly. it would be best to remove the color first :)
@@tasahk you are chemicaly altering it with the permanent dye, that's why it works. Even if u try to bleach it afterwards it will lift to blonde. But you are right that the quantity of blue pigment matters and since it's a situation of a fading blue/turquoise that u'd wanna get rid of, there won't be a problem and for sure removing the pigment would be beneficial.

with my bleached hair blue colors faded the fastest and red hair color stayed by far the longest, especially the orange pigments of the red color
