it helps to see the whole video as a metaphor. she's trying so hard to maintain some kind of order while the whole world is shaking and wind is blowing and just general chaos ensues. This has quickly become one of my favorite Billie Eilish songs and videos 🥰
The Barbie clothes were replica's of outfits she's worn in video's or live shows like the Grammy's. It must be very isolating to shine so bright at such a young age. She is so world famous how can you even go out in the world under such a bright light? In the interview she did on the creation of this track she said it was exactly how she was feeling at the time. She said it twice looking straight into the camera. I think she longs for a time when she can live a more normal life knowing that as an artist that time may be further away than most people of her age. She directed this video. She is such a great talent.

The clothes where some of her iconic clothes, like the green/black one she looked at for longer then the others, that was her grammies outfit or the one with the blue that was the fit from wtpo. I reccomend more of her songs as she is amazing. Her and her brother produce most songs in a small bedroom in there family house, and yes she can do that with her voice. I reccomend xanny, you should see me in a crown, bellyache and i dont wanna be you anymore and definitely bad guys video. She has so many great songs that dont have music vidos (and therefore i am i cba to add that onto the list) some of her songs are really deep and meaningful but ithers are more fun. As well not my responsibility is amazing as its a ‘short movie’ and its very deep of body shaming and stuff.
