I use VPN sometimes. If not, I activate secure DNS.
Other tools that I use: antivirus (WinDefender), configurable HIPS utilities (from COMODO), an advance firewall (like Safing Portmaster), and filter lists (a bunch of)
Whenever I use a browser, ,advertisement blocker and "noscript" adds to the list )
Worth to remember the golden rules: nonadmin account for nonadmin tasks, and UAC high security mode. And backups (now AOMEI)
Might forgot something, this is what comes to my mind )
