since SEGA are no longer adding songs to it officially, MM+FX for PC is a god send, i really love the Hard chart for Valkommen, i didn't hear Valkommen beforehand and now i love the song

actually megamix and megamix+ have one song less than future tone
future tone has ievan polkka and hato, while the megamixes have kagamine hachi hachi flower fight
theres a mod that adds those songs for megamix+

idk man switch version of project diva has been a godsend for me, I've always been more keen to the portable versions of the series so the switch version is just amazing, plus I actually enjoy the extra modes lol

I bought it for switch because I didn't expect sega to port any Project Diva to PC and I don't have a playstation. I enjoyed it on switch, thought the dlcs were way too expensive and it was lackluster compared to Future Tone. When it released on PC i bought it. It's way better than on switch and with modding the possibilities are endless

I don’t regret buying the switch game, but I had literally never played a Diva game and thought “Oh hey, I have a switch and this game just released. Sure, I’ll check it out.” Two years later and I have three consoles dedicated solely to Project Diva and nearly 200 hours on MM+
I didn’t know the game was for PC, it’s good to know now. I actually bought the game for Switch yesterday, but you have no idea how happy I am. Vocaloid is one of my favorite things in the world. (Also, I couldn’t get the PC one even if I knew. I don’t have enough space thanks to Genshin Impact)

Big big BIG fan of this amazing game. I downloaded all the new dlc songs as soon as they were available. I love Miku and I love Luka!!!! I have this along with Future Tone on PS4. Totally boss!!!!!
I am TERRIBLE at this game, yet still love it. I just have really awful rhythm. Still, this has been my most played game every month since I got the game in December 2021.
Thank you for showing some love to this game so it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle.
Idk if this'll help 3 weeks later but using the Input Lag Configuration option helped me when I was struggling with input timing, even though I don't have any lag to deal with.

@@brichan1851 Np! There's a way for you to not have to manually set it, like where you can press a button a few ties in sync with a sound effect. And if that doesn't work, I usualy either re-do it or just manually adjust 'til comfortable. :3

this game is my comfort game, I have played a lot of newer games that came out but for some reason I still go back to play this game atleast once or twice a month. theres something about it that keeps me coming back and I never get tired of it despite me being bad at it lmao
As a person who’s only played this game on Switch (and absolutely adores it), all of these critiques hurt my soul 😭

So megamix got Kagamine Hachi Flower Fight, but it lost Ievan Polka, Saturation, and White Dove.... :C
another day, another Project Diva MegaMix DLC release that doesnt have Lost Ones Weeping
I bought the JP physical version when it released in 2020, thinking that the EN version was going to take ages to release, but got clowned when it released like 2 or 3 months later. I got so mad because I wanted to also buy the dlc after all of my favourite songs were in the dlc, but since it required me to jump through so many hoops, I just decided to wait until I could buy the English version with the dlc. Now that there's the PC version though, I'll just get that instead. Future Tone on PS4 was pretty much my childhood though, I remember playing it after coming home from Primary School.
I am glad the dlc finally dropped. I have the pc version. But I just don't have a strong enough pc for all the songs.. especially the fast onces. So glad I can play without the video dying all over the place XD

I still play this game a ton. Just got a steam deck, so now I really wanna get it on steam, but I absolutely love it on switch regardless of all its flaws. Mega mix is still my most played rhythm game, and one of my favorites, only rivaled by Taiko, Arcaea, and SDVX
If it works well then steam deck would be the goated version fr. Mods AND graphic switching on handheld!!!!
@@Zulf85 it's listed as playable, and the only issue seems to be that it sometimes doesn't show the steam deck controller icons.
@@abrogaming5976 I got a feeling someone will eventually make mod for that or it might already exist. But fr tho mega mix on deck is god tier, I got like 300+ songs and a mod manager on the fly to download more.
It's was my first rhythm game experience and I was hooked. I put in about 255hrs in and then bought FT on Playstation.
this was the first project diva game i ever played and it got me Hooked on rhythm games, i bought all of the dlc for it and then bought future tone on playstation after i got my ps5 and THEN got all the dlc for that too, really considering getting megamix on pc for mods as well lol

I love this game so much and still play it from time to time. I really wish they decided to add more songs I was really hoping for some more from previous games like Brain Revolution Girl
I kinda wanted to buy this game a while ago, but then I found out you had to buy the songs in bundles and it really drove up the price, plus my favorites were all in different bundles from what I remember. Plus I have the demo version and I'm not that good at it (granted, I probably didn't play for over an hour total though). I bought Mirai DX in February instead and I'm much better at that one (was really shitty at it at first too, but I got used to the controls after a while and I now know where the X button is. Though rapid spams do still confuse me, especially the X to B notes).
There's more DLC? How come I never knew? I used to occasionally check the eShop to see if there was anything new, and something appears when I start slacking off?
I need to see this for myself later.

Don't know how many times I've seen people call me and other people who only have Mega Mix on the Switch dumb. Like, that's all we got if we don't have a PlayStation or a PC with enough storage for Mega Mix + and all it's fancy mods.

Personally i dont mind the switch version i bought it in February of 2023 and it has been so much fun! I also got the song packs when it went on sale, and the amount of songs is actually quite amazing, i would definitely recommend it to those who dont have a PC.
The only reason I ever play MM on Switch anymore is when I’m traveling (I don’t own a Steamdeck), and even then I use my PS4 controller adapter

It doesn’t have more songs it’s missing 2 songs Ivan poka and white dove while future tone is only missing that one song so mega mix is now missing 2 songs while future tone missing one while mega mix switch being more expensive having to buy 3 different season passes to catch up

MegaMix on Switch and MegaMix+ on PC are now the exact same thing. Except MegaMix is portable. People are modding MegaMix+ but it’s kinda weird to play songs that are not even a part of the game. Might as well play PPD at that point for free. Idk why you would buy MegaMix+ if that’s the case. But either way I still enjoy the PS4 version most cuz it really feels like the arcade version.
Steam deck makes it plus portable with better performance and loading times ssd vs hard drive

Modding your switch is pretty easy and you wont get banned as long as you dont pirate or cheat in an online match of say something like splatoon

I've wanted to buy Megamix for the PC when it came out but I can't in my country because Sega bullshit and the denuvo hasn't been cracked yet so I can't even pirate it, so I considered buying the Switch version, but it didn't have a lot of songs or had it locked behind dlc and it's still by Sega and I don't want to give them any money now. So anyway this is why I'm playing Project diva for the PSP and Project mirai DX for the 3DS in 2022
