  • Jesus endured extreme torture up to and including His death on the cross. In this message, we examine the political and spiritual circumstances surrounding His trial and crucifixion, and we learn how this historic event was all part of God's ultimate plan.
    This teaching is from our series 43 John - 2016 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Albuquerque.

    Today is Nov 2, 2020....Thank you Skip. I had just finished crying about missing my mother. She's been with the Lord 3 years now but I rememebered her today and cried. The Lord has always comforted me along the way and today was amazing. I put CZcams on just a few minutes after crying to hear the Word and you described a moment you had with your mom as she took her last breath. I want you to know this comforted me ....what timing the Lord has! . The Lord always always always comforts!! Just the way He does it 😊 thank you again Skip for your obedience to the Lord. Im being blessed years later!

      If you believe the Bible, the only person that is with the Lord God is Jesus. Otherwise, why would we be waiting for Jesus to come back, save us, and God judge us. The dead are sleeping awaiting the 2nd coming.

    This teaching is simply amazing. Thank you for breaking this word down. I really needed this. As a minister you need to be able to rightly divide the word of God to create an atmosphere for learning, understanding and maintaining the knowledge being received. I am so grateful for this message. God bless you. ❤️

    The Father establishes "our choice" of Government, even if not HIS "choice." We as Christians are to obey government UNLESS, that authority commands us to violate God's laws. Like the Hebrew boys, "We will not bow," when the decree is to follow evil!
    Prophecy had to be fulfilled, even if that meant a " rotten" sentence was laid down by government. Thank you Jesus for "giving" your life!

    Actually the reason that Jesus ate the Passover on Thursday night instead of Friday is because since the beginning, when God created time, He created the evening first then the morning and He called it a day. “God called the light day and the darkness he called night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.” Genesis 1:5. Read verse 8, 13, 19, 23, and 31 as well in Genesis 1.

    I am confused. If Jesus was crucified on the same hill Isaac was saved on, then how was the ground where Jesus was crucified on flat? What am I missing?

  • @AmericanTorah
    @AmericanTorah Před 2 lety

    Leviticus 23 emphatically states that nobody gets to change the days of God's appointed times. If God arranged his crucifixion to coincide with the slaughter of the Passover lambs, then Jesus ate the Passover on the wrong day. If Jesus followed a man-made tradition and ate the Passover on the wrong day, then he sinned and disqualified himself as our Savior. I think a much better explanation of the apparent discrepancy is that the Judeans misinterpreted the phrase "between the sunsets", and it actually refers to both of the twilights of Nisan 14, the start of the day and the end of the day.
