I'll never forget that one lady that was stranded at Jimmy Joe during the flood and she said "we really weren't too worried until we saw the outhouse float away. Then we knew we needed to be rescued".....priceless. Nice video Lori....I've already expressed my love of this area and the scenery along Rt 78 but I'll say it again. Freakin' awesome drive!

Wow! So beautiful! What's the temperature like in summer and when did you visit? And it seems there are lot of wildflowers on the roadside!! Can you please tell which part has the best wildflowers view?!
The video was shot on July 12, 2022. The temps in the summer are between 60-80 most of the time but it varies a lot. Mid June to early July gets the most wildflowers, we live in a dry state so things start to brown up closer to August. The Wildflowers are everywhere, drive any gravel country road and they are along the roadside and in rolling hills.
