The World of Wrestling lost a legend today in Rocky Johnson. When he gets to the part in the interview and give the statistic I'm losing 78 wrestlers in the last 10 years it breaks my heart. I grew up on world class championship wrestling. You will be sorely missed.

wow. rocky worked everywhere and with almost everybody- we almost let an all time great leave here without hearing his story... he should have had his own podcast. we really lost something valuable here. rip soulman- and thank you hannibal.
As kids we absolutely worshipped The Soulman Rocky Johnson. Roy Shire promotions at the cow palace in the city. Pat Patterson and Rocky were tag team champs. Rocky was the most exciting athlete working at that time. My aunt and uncle would take my brother and I to every show. What a great time to be a kid.
Saw him at the Cow Palace also. As you said great time to be a kid.

I saw Rocky Johnson in the 18 Man Battle Royal at the Cow Palace n 1973. I was in the 3rd Grade. It took like 10 guys to get Rocky out of the ring.. They couldn't get Hay Stack Calhoun over the top rope. I think that dasterdly "Great Mephisto" kicked him in the head with his lead filled boot. It was pandamonium!
